301 Chin Strap Support Band Neck Bandage Face Chin High Compression

This fits very well on my normal sized head. The ear holes are why I purchased it as the one the doctor gave me was really aggravating my ears due to lack of holes. The added bonus this the excellent neck support without any sagging. The material is very high quality, easy to put on. It isn't pulling my jar out-of-whack, so that is a plus. The seams are flat so no irritation there either. It would fit on a larger headed person as well since there is plenty of Velcro to work with. I call this a win especially since I have to wear it for 8 weeks. It will stretch out a bit so no worries if it is too tight at first. The only thing I would change are the seams. They are a bit thick and leave some marks and the Velcro is the 1980's version, but it works. Be careful when putting it on or taking it off to to get your hair in it and you will be fine. Also, if they could make this exact design with seamless neoprene and updated Velcro they could take over the marketplace.

I had a neck lift a little over a week ago. I started with the standard compression bandage from the doctor, which broke off my hair and didn’t do a good job for neck compression. I bought another product here, and it works well, but also required a band off my old one to go on the back of the head to keep it from slipping (and breaking off more hair). It also compressed my ears making them sore. I got this one, and it’s very comfortable. It stays and doesn’t break off my hair. If you have a lot of swelling, you might want to get the size you normally are and the next larger size, if available. I got the size I normally am because my swelling is 50% resolved, although there is quite a lot of tissue squishing out at my ears. It’s a very very snug fit, but not so snug that it impedes blood flow in my neck. It’s so easy to use/put on and I consider this a great value for the money. It’s the best most comfortable compression that also includes the neck that I have found. I still have stitches, and they are aggravated by the fabric of these compression products’ fabrics, so I use a strip of silicone tape over my stitches and use a scrap of mulberry silk between my skin and the compression strap.

I tried removing the tag, since it made wearing this too scratchy/uncomfortable, but once I removed the tag the product started to unravel. I stitched on a black piece of fabric over the spot that unraveled since when I stitched it up at the time I didn't have access to thread that was of the same color, I've only ever worn it this one instant and it fit me a tad oversized. I had to modify it so it would fit me by stitching on extra velcro and I really hate that the top part that goes over the head has velcro since it tangles horribly in the hair. If they could implement buttons instead of velcro it would be more wearable and it wouldn't be so uncomfortable. The quality seems eh, and I greatly despise the velcro as well as the inner tag. Please provide an option to purchase that doesn't have a tag and one that uses button closures rather than velcro so that it doesn't tangle/tear out hair. This just isn't suitable enough as is.

Excellent Product

I love the fact that your ears can stick out after you've had surgery. The last thing you want is compression on those, too. Nice product except for sizing is incorrect. I first ordered a medium, and it felt too tight. So, I ordered an extra large. You can see from the photo that the extra large is actually smaller than the medium.

Purchased for post chin lipo. I got the medium and it was too big. Not huge, but it wasn't giving me much compression and I had it as snug as it would go. I then purchased a small and it was too small. Even adjusted to have it barely holding, the compression was strong and had me waking up in the middle of the night. Instead of velcro, bra hooks with different levels would make more sense. This must be handwashed and hung to dry away from any other material because the velcro will stick to every type of fabric. The good news is the velcro is strong. It's a quality product but sizing is a hit or miss.
