Great product for the price
This is my second purchase. It's connected to be laptop 24/7 I use it to store all the movies and tv show. Read/write speeds to ok. Never had any problems. Good product.

Nice product
WD is one of the best in the market, this product is simply amazing, feeling little bulky fo this period of time and available technology but it is surely very good product, I would recommend this for daily use, Amazon is simple and amazing on their delivery, got the product next day.

Good option if you need extra storage, but not very fast read/write speeds
This is an okay product in today's standards. If you need somewhere you can store your files that you don't want to delete, this is one of your options. Keep it my its not very fast so don't expect the speeds you would see in sandisk extreme and samsung t5 & t7 storages, those are quite phenomenal. This however, its okay but not really great. It works, but it won't impress you. Also I believe it has moving components during operation so be careful when handling or else you risk corrupting it.

Much cheaper than retails, Good Size.
Before I pay for it I had time to search on some retail shops such as Emax, Carrefour and no one was offering this price. This product comes in a very handy size and was very good in speed. Iuing it now almost 1 month and never has any issue with it. Connecting to our router and share on our network was super easy and it's works very fast like usb conection. I guess the black color which I bought is beautiful enough.

Works as expected!
\for me, it was a toss up between Seagate and WD. I settled on the latter based on reviews and of course, the price. Couldn't be happier with the purchase, although, it's only been a month and I'm not sure if it'll last as long as my former WD external disk (5 years and still going strong)

Honestly, all I can say is WOW. I was doubting this because of the price, but the reviews made me risk getting this hard drive. I needed this to connect to my PS4 as it ran out of storage. Came on time, the packaging was great, brand new and all. You cannot find a deal like this elsewhere. The price for this is an absolute steal! Well done, thank you!

M i serviva un HD esterno per caricarci sopra i miei film in DVD (tutti i formati: ISO, AVI, MKV ecc ecc) per portarli dal mio PC alla sala dove abitualmente guardo la TV. Collego "My Passport" al lettore multimediale e mi guardo i film, evitando così di masterizzare quelli in ISO, così se il film è una ciofeca, posso cancellarlo e risparmio di gettare un supporto. Il prodotto da 2 tera , è magnifico, non necessita di alimentatore esterno (viene alimentato tramite il cabetto usb in dotazione) e arriva già formattato per Windows, (per Mac credo vada riformattato utilizzando uno dei programmi che sono presenti come dotazione sull'HD della Western Digital.) L'ho scelto giallo, perchè è uno dei miei colori preferiti. Il prodotto che anche mia figlia ha acquistato da oltre un anno, funziona alla perfezione ed il costo per 2 tera mi sembra molto contenuto. Lo consiglio caldamente a tutti.

Ab High Sierra hat Apple auf allen Geräten, sofern diese einen SSD-Speicher haben, das Dateisystem APFS neu eingeführt. Beim Löschen und Formatieren einer externen Festplatte werden vom Festplattendienstprogramm deshalb nur noch verschiedene APFS-Formate angeboten und nicht mehr das hier erforderliche Format Mac OS Extended (Journaled) oder auch HSF+J (gleiches Format, nur eine andere Bezeichnung). Es war mir deshalb nicht möglich, mit der Time Machine ein verschlüsseltes Backup zu erstellen. Nach langem Hin und Her habe ich schließlich mit Hilfe der Bedienungsanleitung dieser WD-Festplatte die Lösung gefunden: download der WD-Software WD Security für Mac und WD Drive Utilities für Mac. Mit WD Drive Utilities habe ich die Festplatte auf HSF+J formatiert, mit WD Security den Paßwortschutz eingerichtet. Seitdem funktionieren alle Backups einwandfrei. Mein Tipp: Auf der Festplatte befindet sich u.a. die Bedienungsanleitung (auch auf Deutsch), diese sollte man als erstes gleich kopieren und an anderer Stelle auf dem Mac speichern. Nach dem Löschen und Formatieren der Festplatte ist diese leer.

We know seagate is much better company than WD. I used two Seagate Hard Disk, those are damaged. Now I buy this one. This is better than Seagate. If you want External Hard Drive go for WD. This is better than Seagate. It mades in US. Copy speed 80-100 mbps.
