Are there contrasting specks of another color in these pens? like when i use the gold ,i can see definite amber colored specks. is that normal?

This does not sound normal. Could it perhaps be the paper you were using? Do you get the same results on different types of paper? If so, please contact us directly for further information. Yes. They are all the same size

Can you use these pens on acrylic?

This will be my first purchase of these markers, can you tell me the colors in them? And is this set the best to start off?

This is a great set to start with. The colors are canary, gold, amber, lilac, royal blue, turquoise, grass, henna, red, cerise, ocean blue, and black. Have fun with them!
