Strong, reliable hooks that reposition easily, perfect for smooth surfaces and car-camping setups.
I've been camping, road-tripping, and setting up temporary rigs for over a decade, from weekend state park trips to month-long overlanding runs, and I've tried just about every "heavy-duty" suction hook on the market. Most of them either fail in heat, lose grip overnight, or can't handle real tension. These CONBOLA Suction Cups Hooks (Heavy Duty Camper Accessories / Car Camping Essentials) genuinely surprised me. First thing I noticed: the seal. A lot of suction cups claim to be heavy-duty, but they rely on a flimsy lip that curls after a few uses. These actually create a tight vacuum when you press and lock them in. I mounted two on the sides of my SUV to secure a tarp for shade during a hot Texas afternoon, and they held up to 90+ degree heat and steady wind. No slipping. No slow sagging. No midnight collapse. Pro tip from experience: clean the surface first. I wiped the paint down with alcohol before mounting. That extra 30 seconds makes the difference between "works okay" and "rock solid."

Reliable Heavy-Duty Suction Hooks for Camping
These suction cup hooks have proven incredibly useful for my camping and car organization needs. The strong suction holds securely on my SUV's windows and smooth surfaces, easily supporting heavier items like lanterns and gear bags. I particularly like the included securing hook design which adds extra stability. While they work best on non-porous surfaces, they've maintained their grip even during bumpy road trips. The black color option blends well with my vehicle interior. For the price, getting two high-quality hooks is a great value compared to similar products I've tried. A practical solution for outdoor enthusiasts and travelers.

Pretty solid product
Suction is excellent. The nut holding the bolt in place comes lose and needed to be replaced.

Worked well to hang a tarp for shade
These work very well. They suction quickly and easily and are held firmly in place. I used them to hang a tarp from the garage to the driveway to provide some shade. Its nice to be able to put the tarp up and down as needed. I just keep the suction cup hooks in place so its ready any time I need to put it up. My guests were impressed with the inginuity. Will definitley be buyingmore for other projects I have in mind. Great value for the money.

STUCK STRONG for days with big weight pulling on it! WOW!!
Fantastic! Stayed stuck for 2 weeks and still going strong! The suction is VERY strong, it takes Hercules to pry them off, and that's a good thing. These are NOT wimpy things that will come loose and fall of in a few minutes like all the others I've tried. I stuck them on the inside of my SUV's windows in the cargo area and attached bungee hooks and cargo netting pulling on them with a LOT of weight, 150 pounds of stuff pulling against them. It was asking a lot of them to hold that much weight & pressure with the straps pulling tightly on a long 2000+ mile week-long road trip. But they held perfectly! What a nice surprise they never came off even once, not loose at all, those babies were stuck and not going anywhere. I have not tried them on other surfaces but for clean glass in your car even with temp changes it holds incredibly strong! UPDATE: They are STILL stuck tight after ONE MONTH! I finally took them off and it was hard to pry them off, as in very hard, but that makes them good. One thing you will want to do is make sure you keep the plastic caps they come with covering the suction cups, as you will need to put them back on over the cups when you take them off whatever they were stuck to. This is because the inside of the cups are sticky with an adhesive type surface and without the covers they would get covered with stuff immediately and that would surely hurt their sticking next time you use them. So keep those caps, they are attached but if you cut them off like I did, make sure you keep them!

Can’t Handle Minor Wind Gusts
Bought these to have a point to secure a tarp off my car when camping. If there’s any wind gusts (5mph+) these will struggle to stay in place and often times disconnect and go flying into my car. As others have mentioned, these come with adhesive on them initially but if you are someone who needs to disconnect and reconnect them while moving between campsites, this adhesive quickly disappears and you are stuck with very poor suction. These are great for non-windy conditions but if you have any gusts of wind and the tarp somewhat blows around, these quickly disconnect and go flying everywhere (often into your car). I’ve tried cleaning the spot I’m connecting to as well as cleaning the suction cups before connection but they still seem to struggle to keep connection in wind. It’s more of a headache to use these as I find myself always having to reconnect them multiple times as they come flying off. Wouldn’t recommend for campers looking for them to stay on for a few days. These might be good if you want them to stay in place for a few hours in non-windy conditions.

Tighten cap nuts before use
They work well. That being said, after using twice, 2 of 4 of them have lost the nut that holds the screw in. I almost lost the cover and other parts to one because of this. I’m going to look for a replacement and also make sure to tighten them each time before use.

Ordered twice
I have ordered these twice. They have great holding power. I used them in the Arizona desert with 40mph winds and they held fast. If they pop off for you try wetting the cup before tightening it. Also be aware to tighten the tiny screw before using because that can actually come off.

Great bit of kit without being too big for travel. Grips firm, I feel I could scale the North Face of The Eiger using these. Well priced and delivered on time

Very helpful to all my projects that requires suction cup hooks to stick on metal walls, and rails in my balcony. The products are well made, sturdy, and reusable, very strong. I am using them to set up my privacy screen getting ready for winter to prevent the snow from falling on my balcony. I bought more of them. I recommend them to all customers out there. I give it 5 +++++ stars.

These things are super strong, got them to use for mounting a tarp on the van while traveling, they work very very well, tricky to take off but well worth it

Not used as yet but they seem to be able to hold up to pulling tests at home, see how they go being used in the great outdoors
