Easy setup, great results
I was amazed how easy this was to set up. As long as you are plugged into a GFCI outlet or adapter with the proper gauge extension cord, you should be good. I am using on my side lawn...the amount of discharge is more than enough to meet my needs. And the motor is relatively quiet.

It sucks, that's good!
This is a great tool for low water issues. It sucks up about a quarter inch or more of water . Very good product. Just be careful not to let it run after the water has been sucked up, it doesn't stop automatically and can burn out the motor

Used for a drainage ditch
Bought this and used it in a situation it really wasn't designed for. I had a drainage ditch that is a good 300' long and ranged in width from 2-10' wide and anywhere from 1 foot to 3 feet deep of water. The yard was saturated and had surface water which added to the amount of water to be moved. Plus more rain replenishing the amount of water. I needed to get the water moving and be able to do it quietly as the only time I'd be able to use a gas powered unit would be late a night and the neighbors wouldnt approve of that. So I ran this pretty much 24/7 since April 28th (its currently 5/23) and the only hiccups have been more due to the usage than the pump. Its been a champ and hasn't given me any issues other than what Ill list below. Mind you this drainage ditch isn't just clean water as it can have silt and have grass clipping/other vegetation to deal with. -if you are placing it on a hard surface (concrete or well packed ground) itll work for the 1/8" of water. But if placing on a soft surface it sometimes "suctions" itself down and will stop sucking up water. Placing the unit on bricks or with a stick under an edge of it works quite well at fixing that though -the built in filter works well for larger items but isn't perfect. Mind you this is made for clean water anyways. But a piece of screen door mesh wrapped around the unit makes for a great prefilter. Overall for the price it is a wonderful product. It will be nice having around for other uses as well. For just moving water...it works great and is quiet and easy to use.

Strong Little Pump - WAYNE Waterbug 1/6 HP 1350 GPH
I've used this pump twice in the last seven months to drain a pond with roughly 2000 gallons of water. I really like the fact that it has two garden hose attachments, one at the top and one on the side. That's super convenient. I've found, like others, that the impeller can clog pretty quickly with any large debris (leaves, dirt, etc.). But, the impeller cleanout is not very difficult. When using this pump with clean water it works like a champ. It's very light and the cord wrap is convenient. Sits very flat to the surface getting water at a super low point. Highly recommended for pumping clean water! I'd like to see the price about $20 bucks less :)

FREAKING AMAZEBALLS! Works like a wet dream!
WOW! WOW! WOW! So beyond thrilled I stumbled across this little yellow sucking machine! There just aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe my relief, excitement, amazement, wonder, thrill, did I say relief already? I’ve used the little “disposable” above ground pools for years and years. Except they aren’t little when it comes time to clean them up for summer fun. Mechanical brained hubs and fight EVERY FREAKING YEAR over summer setup. He ALWAYS has some ingenious idea to help save our backs from bailing water and funk from the bottom of the pool. There is always about 8” that doesn’t syphon out and we have to use buckets and dump. It’s a big fiasco! Well, this time I was six months post back surgery and he was recently diagnosed with severe back arthritis and a debilitating disease that has left both of us unable to scoop and dump 5 gallon buckets of water. I searched for a pump and there were several to choose from, but the reviews sucked! I actually ordered another pump and then cancelled the order because I just didn’t feel a level of comfort with the purchase. And then it happened! This little yellow monster machine popped on my search! The reviews were fantastic and seems incredible. The money wasn’t bad and I figured what the hell - if it didn’t work, I would send it back and at least I tried. It was easy peasy to set up. I dropped it in the stagnant water at 5:30. By 8:30 most of the water was gone! Tomorrow I’ll finish with the big shop vac on all the gunk and start filling that beast of a disposable pool that is on its third year of use. 22’ x 52” in size. This has been the easiest pool cleanup and open I have ever done short of setting up a new pool! THANK YOU! This old lady is beyond happy with her purchase!

Made short-order of my flooded downstairs room.
Easy to use. Connect the hose; put the pump in the proper place; plug it in. It emptied the water from my flooded room very quickly. I then used a wetvac to pull up a bit more. I'm now running a dehumidifier and fan to dry it all out. Without this pump it would have taken more than 50 tanks of the 5 gal wetvac to remove all of the water. This little guy saved me so much physical labor, time and electricity! (And it really is very quiet.)

NEVER WORKED
Was to be refurbished, but right out of the box, it just hummed with no movement of water. Even after priming it four times, nothing but humming. Someone certainly didn't do much testing with this used/refurbished product.

Used this to suck the water out of my Portable 11000 litre pool. Was pumping water uphill and this did the trick. Its obviously not going to pump as fast uphill be this product exceeded my expectations. The bottom can be a little sharp so i dropped it in the pool on top of a plastic mat. Worked great. Set it and forget it type of thing. Its quite. Works like all the youtube videos say. If you need a sump pump. This is great on a budget. Easy to clean as well and 2 ports for a hose
