Item arrived far in advance of estimate. Packaging damaged on arrival, and completely open down one side. Waited three days until I had time to test it. Works fine. Cloudy day, April 7th, but is generating over 20v at 10am. Good tip from previous reviewer abount inserting the polystyrene packaging to protect the panels in the briefcase.

Awesome quality but very poor leg design and well above average price for comparable products ! ..Some might wonder if I like Goal Zero and I do ! ...But !!! ..Some might wonder also if Goal Zero's right hand move's in parallel with their left hand !..The glass panel itself is top notch as is the sturdy encasing ! ..The legs ????...Oooh ! ..Turn this panel upside down with the legs sticking up and you have created an effective determent for invading armies to become impaled rofl..Why is this important ???.. Its important because the panel is so heavy that once you unfold you end up dragging it into your optimal position at the same time dragging all the dirt, debris, cats, dog's, humans and anything else these sharp angled legs can catch along their way *grin !.. Make the legs more user friendly, drop the price by about 100 dollars and I will up my stars !..Otherwise !...Shopper's !..Check out the Renogy briefcase's, they have solved the leg designs, the pricing and best of all they adapt to nearly every Solar generator's wattage input ! ..Sincerely, Eric

Good packaging, good carrying case. Didn’t like the anderson plug. Had to buy a connector to the battery pack.

I bought this to recharge a Goal Zero Yeti 1000, and although it works, there are a couple of significant drawbacks. The legs are fixed in size, and have no locking mechanism. You basically only have one position available to you, if that isn't what you want....tough. For charging, I found the system to be wildly inconsistent. It will charge, but for no particular reason, the input will drop to zero, then I have to "reset" it, to get it to start charging again. I would expect it to be a plug and forget system, but found I spent a significant amount of time having to ensure it was charging, and doing minor adjustments to the position of the panel to get peak charge out of it. The case it comes in is nice, but not designed for easy on and off, I found it works best with 2 people. It is HEAVY, if you have back problems, be warned.

sOME HOW SOME WAY THEY HAVE TO LIGHTEN THIS 2 PANEL 200 WATT & SO VERY IMPORTANT YOU CAN NOT LOAD IT IN THE BAG THE WAY THE ZIPPER IS CONFIGURED, REALLY HURT MY SHOULDER TRYING T GET IT BACK IN THE HEAVY DUTY BAG, MY RICH PORTABLE ZIPPER GOES DOWN & AROUND HALF THE BAG EASILY SLIPS BACK IN ALSO THE PANELS ARE FULLY EXPOSED AS YOU FOLD IT & TRY & STORE IT, most likely the stands & arms made them come up with the panels ON THE OUTSIDE SO AS YOU RELOAD THEM INTO BAG YOU MUST USE YOUR LEG TO BALANCE SO THEY GET OIL FROM SKIN, HANDS, ARMS SMUDGE THEN IT CRUSHES YOUR TOES BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO LIFT OFF THE GROUND SOMEHOW, I WILL SAY NO QUESTION IN MY 20's 30's even 40's age you probably will be ok I'm years in on moto racing climbing skiing repelling & hockey so, hurt my shoulder which doesn't take much getting them out of the truck, no way I'm gonna be able to swing these around every day or every other day, I do love the look of the panels, really unique really cool & cant say how much power I got, if my Rich Solar portable with Rich MPPT are pulling in 140-160w I do believe these are gonna be sweet. Also, no way your gonna leave these out (anywhere) even while you go back to sleep it's a hefty investment, & YES MADE IN CHINA! YES THEY ARE "DESIGNED" IN USA, I HATE THAT FAKE PHRASE, IT FOOLS A LOT OF FOLKS. I WOULD RERUN THEM ON THAT ALONE BECAUSE THEIR ARE LIGHTER, LESS EXPENSIVE, & QUITE STRONG LIKE RENOGY MONO "ECLIPSE" THESE ARE SO EASY TO MOVE SET UP & GET BACK INTO BAG ALSO REALLY COOL LOOKING & NAIL DOWN 160w consistently. MAKE SURE THEY ARE THE "ECLIPSE" VERSION!
