Finally saving $$$ but only after spending hours chasing down solutions - company was no help....look elsewhere...
Well finally got it all working, but boy what a hassle.I'm going to stop short of recommending this, and suggest you find a company that is more responsive to their customers - there are other sellers on Amazon with this Brother CISS unit. The Initial problem was the ID chips that came on each cartridge - none of them were recognized as genuine by our Brother MFC-J480DW. I did contact INKUTEN thru Amazon, and they auto-responded with a request for pictures of problem & warning screen on printer. In an hour, I had these pictures to them, with zero response. Some digging around the web suggested that I should switch the chips from the genuine cartridges to the CISS ones. I did learn you can gently pry off the entire inner front piece from each cartridge on which chip is mounted & they can switch over to the CISS cartridges. Once installed the chips allowed the CISS cartridges to be recognized, but then the fact that the CYAN cartridge had a small leak. I did also send INKUTEN an email about the leaking cartridge and like the earlier time, I got zero response.I was able to patch the leak with some Gorilla Tape (how long will it hold ?) but am disappointed in the lack of help from INKUTEN.Yes, its now working, and prints just fine, but the hassle to get it all working is best avoided, unless you are a serious DIY'er.

It's awesome!
I LOVE IT!!! I am so excited to save money on ink!We print A LOT, so this continuous ink system is going to save us well over $100 a year. A couple of issues I had: 1- The instructions are TERRIBLE!!! Watch some YouTube videos before you do anything!! 2- You are going to have to remove part of the door to the ink compartment on your printer....just come to terms with it, take a deep breath, and do it! If my picture comes through, you can see I cut out a portion of the door after popping the gray decorative piece off. Aesthetically, it doesn't look too bad, I would rather see the ink tubes than spend a fortune on replacement ink. 3- If the tubes get pinched....no ink will come through, hence the cutout in the door. Also if you opt to not cut a piece out of the door, good luck trying to close it without pinching the tubes. 4- There is an opening at the top of the ink reservoirs, so if you knock the container over there could be an ink spill. I averted this potential disaster by using some Command Damage Free Velcro Strip and attached it to the wall. I hope my hints are helpful! Buy it, you will not be sorry!!!

Very pleased with install on a Brother printer
Just installed on a Brother MFC-J480DW, and it could not have been easier. A little folded paper to keep the ink door from pinching the tubes, and I was done. Ink seems good, and no-reset chips will be nice (but I do not yet have enough time with the unit to know if they work well or not).In the past, I had tried to install CISS on a Canon PIXMA printer, and failed miserably. I ended up throwing the printer away after all the mods I had to do to try to make it work, and even then was not successful. But this one was easy, and looks to be very reliable.I would encourage anyone looking at CISS to take a good hard look at how well it might fit before investing, especially on printers where the ink cartridges move with the print head For now, I am very pleased.

No more constant refilling
This unit is working great. I no longer have to constantly be changing ink cartridges. Wear gloves when you make the conversion to keep ink from staining hands and lay down some paper towels. You must modify the printer ink door or completely remove ( I cut a square opening using a dremel and joe dandy cutter) -- it keeps everything looking professional. I also bought extra ink -- now I just top off the CISS and have a couple months printing before I need to refill again. Very nice if you are constantly printing and tired of being delayed by having to replace cartridges.

Make sure you get the printer(s) this goes with
Not the easiest thing to install, BUT well worth the price and effort! We are starting at home learning and this had helped me print page after page of school work up keep my minions going!!!

The worst Made product ever
I literally never used this crap. It never worked and leaked constantly. Poorly made and has multiple issues with functionality. It doesn’t work at all. At least mine didn’t. Amazon you will lose many customers doing business with a subpar company like this. If you don’t believe that, I’ll tell you now you lost me as a customer.

Flawless and easy install
Ordered and installed this in a Brother MFC-J680DW. The install was exactly the same as installing a cartridge, so absolutely zero effort. I have already printed more than 150 pages and the ink is still almost full. The printer doesn't complain about it being genuine, which is a huge plus.I would 100% recommend this for anyone looking for an CISS.
