Pairing this along with a few other Zesty Paws supplements, I have noticed my senior dog has more energy and joint and muscle mobility. His skin and coat are noticeable softer, leaving a nice shine. He absolutely loves the taste and smell, and as he gets pickier that's a big plus! If you are looking for supplements for your pup, these are a great purchase and well worth the money spent.

Much to our dismay, our six year old German shepherd was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia. We started giving her an anti-inflammatory from the vet as well as Dasquin with MSM that they recommended, but her condition continued to deteriorate. I saw an ad for joint supplements and decided to do some more research. That’s when I came across these. The ingredients were different from those in the Dasquin, so we decided to give it a shot. Her recommended dosage is three pills a day, but because of her other supplement, we give her one in the morning and one in the evening. What a difference they have made! Our girl still has a slightly lumbering walk, but she is no longer lifting her leg in pain and is obviously happier and feeling much better. We quit giving her the expensive anti-inflammatory from the vet as it did little to nothing, but continue to give her both supplements. Every day she continues to get better. What a relief for her and for us!

So my elderly Jack Russell was showing some signs that she's getting old. She would hesitate to jump up on the couch or would jump and couldn't make it. She does enjoy eating these so I'll keep giving them to her. They are soft chews, I break them up into 3 pieces for her. I've noted a little less hesitancy when jumping up. I take human collagen myself and love it. This is the third product I have tried. She wouldn't eat the msm/glucosamine products I tried in the past. Also collagen has proven benefits where the other supplements are questionable.

Let me start by saying that I usually don't write reviews unless the product is really good, really bad, or a good product that has one major flaw that could be improved to make it great. This product is the latter. I think this product has helped with my senior dog's mobility and joint problems, but I do have one frustrating issue. My fur baby only weighs 7 lbs; her mouth is small, and she has had to have several teeth removed. This makes it impossible for her to eat the tablet whole, so I have to cut it into pieces. Sometimes I am able to do this with no problem; other times one or more of the pieces just crumbles, and it is almost impossible to press the crumbles back together. It would be helpful if the product maintained its integrity instead of disintegrating into nearly unless crumbs.

I have an 11y5m female spayed coonhound lab mix who is arthritic and displays symptoms of deterioration. I bought these to help her coat, joints and was hoping other features.Sadly, I did not notice a huge difference after 2 months of being on the supplement. They do smell very strong of shellfish ~ so if you are allergic or can't stand the smell please stay far away.I am a veterinary assistant and I have noticed my pup become happier on Dasuquin ESM, however, that is a prescription joint supplement.
