good soap, leaves you feeling clean with making the skin feel dry

Great smelling soap. Instantly took me back to my grandparents house! Colgate should really market this more because I had no idea it was still made. Colgate owns Irish spring as well and this is better than that IMO. Unfortunately made in Mexico. Some reviews here say USA, some Thailand…mine Mexico. I’m not sure what is going on at Colgate. P&G is trouncing them $84 billion to $20.1 billion a year in sales.

My husband asked me to get Palmolive soap for the mud room sink. He was happy that I found it on Amazon, so I ordered it. It’s the only soap that really cleans dirty hands. My husband is happy with the purchase, but a little surprised that the bars are slightly smaller than they used to be but either way the ingredients are still the same. He’s happy, I’m happy!

I like this soap, but it is not the Palmolive of previous years. The original Palmolive was a larger rectangular bar with squared corners. It was a sort of acid green color (like on the wrapping paper) and smelled so fabulous and spicy. This version is a smaller bar that is shaped like a pillow. It is a light celadon green, the scent is very subtle, and the soap is gentle. I was hoping for the original Palmolive, but this is nice.
