A thorough review of the form and function
I had questions about this swithc so I wanted to write a review than asnwers all of them: This is a fantastic Little Footswitch. It feels durable. The switches themselves have a heavy duty feel and a nice audible click and feel when you press them. It comes with a 10 foot cable, straight to angled. The cable feels durable. It also comes with a sticker sheet so you can label your switches, I used "Boost" and "Chanel" but there were a page of options. They are white words. I use this with a Laney Lionheart Foundry Amp . It's the Seafoam Green 1x12in 60W (LF60-112-SFG). Whe using it with that amp I did not have to use a power supply on this channel switcher. The Leds light up without a power supply (powered by the cable and amp). Some amps may need a power supply to power this, I do not know, but it has a port for a 9V DC 40mA. If needed, a power supply would have to be purchased seperately. I click the right switch and it will change between channel one and channel two. I click the left switch and it will turn on the boost (this boost works on both channels). The footswitch is slightly raised off the ground by four small rubber "legs". You can remove these if you wanted to apply velcro and attach it to a pedalboard. I am very pleased with the form and function of the pedal. It is very small, about 3.5 inches by 1.5 inches. Two inches tall to the top of the switches, though could be a little shorter if you removes the feet.

Get the Best
This switch works great with my Laney amp. You just need the switches on the amp in the correct position for the switch to work properly. Housing is made very well and comes with a very nice patch cable.

A fine piece of gear
It is a solid piece with all metal construction, and it works perfectly as expected. The LEDs are bright and easy to see, and the switches provide a positive feel when engaged.

Weird... The LEDs light when channel/effect is OFF?
This pedal works opposite of what standard amplifier foot-switches do. When the circuit is closed/shorted (ie. channel is in "on" position), the LED is OFF. This is opposite behavior of what I'd consider normal/standard. Maybe a it's Laney-proprietary thing or a UK thing, but with my Mesa Boogie amps, I want the LED's lit when the channel is "on". I was hoping to find a dip switch inside to flip this behavior, but no dice. All components are on a neat PCB inside, so not easy modifiable. Unfortunately I'll have to return this. Otherwise, great build quality - probably works perfectly with an actual Laney amp.

Compact, works as stated!
It came with a well-made TRS cable of good length and it has indicator lights for when the switch is on. It is a latching (not momentary) switch. Received as stated in the description. It is quite small, so if you have scant space on your pedalboard, it’s the best option out there. Back in the day when electronic parts stores existed (think RS) I used to make them myself, but now at 70, it’s easier just to buy it because it’s just too difficult to find the parts these days! …And the you’ve got the hassle of digging out the old soldering iron, looking for appropriate solder, drilling 1/4” holes in a box and file the burrs off, wiring it up and attaching feet or Velcro to the bottom of the box….And chances are that it won’t be as small and have led’s. Heck just go buy one attach it use it and love it — it’s much easier!

Great pair for my Laney Ironheart Foundry Dueltop.
Works exactly as advertised and now I can switch my boost and channel from a switch.

Very well built, very sturdy
This footswitch is great. It's in a very sturdy steel chassis and it came with a good quality instrument cable to patch it to the amp. That said, for $59.95 it should be gold plated. That is a ridiculous price for a metal box with two off/on switches. It's not just Amazon, or Laney (the amp manufacturer). They're all ridiculously priced. Anyway, rant over. It's a solid pedal, just not worth the price. That's why I only gave it 3 stars.

Perfect for Laney Amps
Perfect for use with Laney amps. For switching reverb, boost and modulation on or off. And switching between channel 1 and 2. The TRS cable supplied is very good quality. A power supply is not needed if playing a Laney amp. Note: Two FS2-MINI Dual Switches are required for all switching.

Super expensive for what it is
Well at least it's well made. But also it's kind of odd -- I have a LC50-II and this is the recommended switch. Really I only got it to have access to reverb (for some reason the amp has no switch). But: the channel switch only works if the switch on the amp is set to clean, and when it does work the light on the pedal is on while the light on the amp is off, and vice versa. For reverb it does work, but sadly the reverb is barely noticeable. That's not the switch's fault though, could just be the way the amp is (I did buy it used).

Footswitch semplice e robusto
