Why is the conditioner now a gross brown color instead of white? It dries out my hair now. Has this been reformulated?

How is this for people w/roots that get oily 24-48 hours after washing? Is this formaldehyde free? Does it weight hair down?

I have oily hair like that and my scalp is sensitive. I love this shampoo/conditioner and have been using it for over a year now. It feels clean and weightless after my showers, and it smells nice.

Is this product safe for color treated hair?

I am convinced someone is obtaining bottles of professional grade shampoo & conditioner & replacing the real product with unknown chemicals that are causing damage the the real product would never cause. There was one product I used for 15 years that upon receipt had taken on an odd odor & texture. I refused to use & returned after reading reviews of damage. I have ordered many shampoo/conditioner items & have found massive inconsistencies in reviews. This shampoo burned my scalp, literally, leaving it red, bleeding, with hair falling out while I was desperately trying to rinse it from my hair & body. I had huge holes on my scalp with no hair at all & it took weeks to find a shampoo mild enough to use without horrible pain & a moisturizing conditioner to begin repairing the damage to my fine, thin hair which was so burned it was at least a month before I could comb it out & go in public. I would soak my head in a sink of cold water, put heavy moisturizing  conditioner on my hair & wrap leaving on for 12-15 hrs, still not able to comb with a wide tooth comb/brush meant specifically not to break hair & rinse w/ warm water, wait a day & try again. My hair doesn’t tangle but for weeks I could NOT comb my hair out due to the dry, brittle state after just one use of this product. Let me be clear. I do NOT believe it was the real product in the bottle but until Amazon is able to maintain quality control I will no longer be able to purchase my hair are products thru them. The reviews must improve & obvious control taken to protect the products these companies work so diligently to produce. Going they the Holidays with 1/3 of my hair missing, the broken, brittle dry hair when my hair is fine, soft & supple is a huge disappointment. At 63, it does take longer to grow my hair out & it’s infuriating to have one of my best qualities damaged due to careless quality control & disrespect to quality companies generating quality product. I will purchase just NOT FROM AMAZON!
