It works. it handles 4k 60Hz video without any reduction in picture or sound quality. Automatically switches between devices when one is turned off and another turned on. Has a remote control so you can easily switch from one device to another when multiple devices are turned on. Works great. I have two PCs connected to it; it does not seem to cause any lag in fast paced games with the tv in game mode. Still instant response from controller or keyboard inputs. I power mine off a USB 2.0 port on the back of my desktop PC. Its plug and play. Really no set up other than connecting to a power source and your devices.

UPDATE 12/15/2025: Unit stopped working. I would advise ordering a different model than this one. I realize it is not as expensive as others on Amazon, but would steer clear of this particular brand. Seller was responsive, but said it only came with a 1-year warranty. Works as advertised. Easy set up and just what I needed to add additional components to my entertainment system.

The switch works, but the remote, which is super cheap, stopped working after a month. I bought a switch with a remote so I wouldn’t have to stand up. Now I’m going to stand up to throw the piece of junk away.

Best HDMI switch I've come across thus far. What puts this switch over others I've tried is the auto switching feature. It's a great feature that makes the use of the included remote a rarity. You can have the main source used on the TV on, and when you turn on the other device you want to switch to, this switch will automatically switch to the device that was just turned on. Once you're done with that device and turn it off, it'll switch back to the other device if it's still on.

Not as illustrated. Has no power off button on device or remote. I will say it does works well. Amazon was very helpful, by sending another no charge with a return of 1st one received. However, the 2nd one was also without on/off function. Returned both to Amazon in same package via UPS. I did order a different one that is as illustrated
