I have several of these and I can't recommend them enough. Super tough, discreet and incredibly effective.

Awesome little tool. Punches bring small holes/dents in even the hardest objects. It's strength is fantastic and it will NOT break unless you drop a large hammer on it. Even then it might not.. It's very small and will get past pat-downs (ask me how I know..). Absolutely worth the extra insurance to have on your person.

Just received it and after doing a little research on it, I feel that I made the right choice in purchasing it. I hope to never have to use it, but it's a nice feeling knowing that it is there in my pocket, or if having to travel into a 'questionable" area or situation, I'll already have it in the palm of my hand. That being said, I carry mine without any keys. I feel that they might get in the way if I ever had to actually use the stinger in self defense. I would hate to strike something and have a key cut into my palm, making the strike less than perfect, especially if I had to strike more than once. It's also nice knowing that if one had to "dispose" of it rather quickly after having to deploy it , they are only out $10.00, just in case you live or are traveling through a "liberal" city or state. The best part is that it clears "metal", in case you or your love ones ever go to a concert, ball game, etc... or something that requires metal detectors, they can still feel somewhat safe going to the restrooms, parking lot, etc.... Oh BTW, like the description says, if ever asked about it, it is used for healing arts such as acupressure. After I finish writing this review, I am going to order two more for some buddies at work. They saw mine today and immediately wanted one. i highly recommend one for each family member and they come in about every color you can imagine. They say that the bright neon colors are good for digging through purses, which will help you spot it quickly.

As a man in his forties, I started to notice a decline in my testosterone. Hair started to thin, working out takes twice as much energy. I received a complimentary stinger when I purchased a video from Combat Technologies. I like the concept behind it and the quality is certainly there. But I find when held, I don't feel like I can really deliver a effective punch by the way it fits in the hand (as pictured). I prefer if I could really close my fist completely around the grip much like you would hold a push dagger.

Anything dealing with pressure-points is usually very effective, including this type of self-defense tool. One of the reasons for this is because; weither you are big, small, weak or strong, know one can build-up the pressures on the human body, with the exception of using body armor. 10/10

I bought a clear Stinger for my college-bound stepdaughter since her mother wasn't a fan of her first-born living in a dorm in the big city. This seemed to be a good, inconspicuous way to help keep her safe while allowing Mom to feel more at peace (oh, and I bought Mom one of these too.)While I didn't try it out hitting anything, though I wanted to, it does seem like it would hurt if one was hit with it. I feel confident that this would make a young woman's punch quite painful to a would-be assailant.It was extremely comfortable to hold, and in my air-punching tests, it was pretty easy to use. The only problem is making sure you are swinging in a way necessary to make sure the Stinger is the point-of-contact.The Comtech Stinger is a low cost and seemingly easy to use self-defense tool. I can say I would recommend it for those in your life you want to keep safe.

This thing is a little beast. It is the new brass knuckles, but better. It is more compact, lightweight, you can carry in your pocket or on your keychain. It focuses all of your power onto a quarter inch point - absolutely devastating. It took a little while to get a comfortable grip, but I found it better to hold higher up in my hand (towards my thumb), with the nub/point sticking through my first two fingers. Great little defense tool.
