My waistline hovers around 31" which really is very frustrating to buy for. should i risk the sm or the med?

I have a 33 - 34 waist and purchased the Med. They fit perfect.

What is the difference in pouches? ergonomic, u, enhanced u, 3d. i'm confused.

The pouch is described as a 3D design and it puts things out there more so than the brief version (which is also quite comfortable). I find it comfortable for my male anatomy. I wouldn't say it enhances as much as say Andrew Christian or AussieBum underwear, but the material is very comfortable and I think that's what sets it apart from some of the other underwear I've bought.

What is the % of bamboo? Will these be double pouch?

The green and gray one is 91.5% bamboo fiber, but according to the rule, on the washing label we just can use cellulose fiber. (bamboo fiber belongs to cellulose fiber). The black and drak gray one is 96% bamboo. However, for the next batch, the content will be adjusted to 93% bomboo fiber and 7%spandex. Sorry for the confusion. We can make sure the product quality is same good. And this is not double pouch. We just have two double pouch items now.

how durable is the material? and does it strech far?

So far I find them to be very durable with little crawling up my leg. The front pouch does remarkably well in keeping things in place with no discomfort. The feel is fantastic almost like wearing nothing at all. The only drawback is the legs aren't as long as shown on picture.
