Will this neutralizing shampoo turn pink if there is still relaxer in my hair?

This neutralizer shampoo does not have color indicator.

If it has no color indicator, How do you know if it’s working?

You should be able to tell by the feel of your hair if all the product is out. Best practice was 5 times, thoroughly massaging the scalp and rinse until the water runs clear, squeezing any excess water out

Would this help with the effects of hard water?

I too have hard water, the shampoo is helpful, however I find it most useful when I give my hair a deep weekly conditioning and use the shampoo during the week.
