Molten Molten Light Touch Volleyball

I played competitive volleyball since I was 7 years old and all through college, too. I have looked high and low for the perfect ball for my 12-year-old daughter, who is just beginning to learn the sport, and I have finally found it. The Molten soft touch is soft enough for kids to play with and the cover is leather, so it holds up and feels just like the volleyball used in competition which is important. If you are looking for a truly authentic and well-made volleyball, for a fraction of the cost, Molten Soft Touch is my top choice. Also, I feel like my review is starting to sound like an ad for the company, so please rest assured I received NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH in return for leaving my review. I am just so pumped to finally have found a solid volleyball like the ones I used growing up after having looked for way too long. I have already ordered a second ball lol.

Great beginner volleyball. We've used the Molten First Touch which actually has a cloth cover and the soft touch (which is not so very soft). This has a nice soft touch for a beginner who doesn't have tough arms yet. This ball does, however, have more bounce than a standard volleyball - partly due to construction and partly due to the decreased weight of the ball. The extra bounce is good because the ball does not have to have much speed behind it to get a good bounce off the arms. It keeps the kids from learning to swing at the ball in order to propel the heavier balls. My daughter really enjoys using this one because it does not sting her arms or hurt her wrists when she receives the ball incorrectly (which happens often when they are learning). This should be good for at least this year until we need to move up a bit in weight to get her more accustomed to a fully-weighted ball.

I liked it a lot and it was very soft, very pleasing to play with. I very much enjoyed this. They really don't kid when they say light touch. Most volleyballs are very hard to play with and hurt my wrist but this one was very soft and very convenient. The only thing I was hoping for is that it would come already inflated. When I opened the package, I didn't have a ball pump ready so I had to go out to the store and buy one because I really was hoping it would be inflated. But it was totally worth it!

We started with ONE of these- my niece was starting volleyball lessons/practice on Saturdays at a nearby church/school and these were highly rated and very affordable. Sure enough once her little sister and my daughter see her with the volleyball THEY want a volleyball. So I order another one for the 3 and 4 year old to play with together. I’m sure many of you can imagine how that went. My daughter wanted the same color as her big cousin and the little sister just wanted whatever anyone else had at any given moment 😂 so we now have 3 volleyballs and despite taking a lot of punishment from normal playing AS WELL AS being bounced like basketballs on CONCRETE and even LEFT OUTSIDE IN THE BACKYARD IN THE RAIN on several occasions, they are holding up BEAUTIFULLY. And if anyone is interested: you can use paint markers to label/decorate the balls and it comes out beautifully and lasts a long time despite the previously mentioned abuse 😂. I absolutely recommend these for anyone, but especially if you are buying for kids who will be putting the equipment through the wringer. These are fantastic!

Is a good ball

Exactly what we needed for indoor 12u volleyball. Comes flat; you'll need to pump it up.

La textura y colores excelente Pero,esperaba la bola viniera llena y empacada en una caja presentable para un obsequio. Vino vacía y en una bolsa plástica. No es lo que esperaba. Estoy tarde para regalos de Navidad por eso no lo devuelvo ya haya te la manera de llenar de aire la bola y hacerle un bien empaque.

Alır almaz çimlik alanda oynamak istediğiniz topumuz yere değer değmez patladı. Dışı sünger gibi yumuşak ve hassas, soyulmaya meyilli. Bu kadar kısa ömürlü olabileceğini düşünmedim. Maket doğumgünü pastalarını andırıyor. Çok yumuşak kaplaması kesinlikle rahat bir vuruş ancak sadece kapalı ve pürüzsüz yüzeyde oynanmalı.

Very nice quality ball. Light weight for younger kids to have a proper hit out without using rubber toys. Seems to wear reasonably well on more abrasive surfaces, we'll see how it holds up long term. Happy for now.

Great quality. Holds air for long time. This is very important because I don’t want to pump balls before using them. Highly recommend it.
