GRIDMANN NSF Stainless Steel Work & Prep Table 30 x 24 Inches with Caster Wheels and Under Shelf for Restaurant, Home, Hotel

I purchased this to use as a table for my direct to food edible printer. When it arrived, the box was in pretty sad shape, so I was concerned that the inside may not have arrived without problems. However, the only flaws were several places where the protective plastic coating on the metal had been ripped off and there were some scratches. But other than that, there were no nicks, bends, or other flaws due to shipping. It is rather heavy coming in at a bit over 80 pounds with the wheels. It is also much higher with the wheels - 39" tall when fully assembled. I wanted the wheels on it so that I could move it if necessary. The wheels are very good quality and larger size with 2 of them having locks on them which is very beneficial. The table itself seems quite sturdy, although it does scratch very easy, just from my fingernails (which are very short and thin). The bottom shelf is adjustable, however once you have it put together, it is a bit more difficult to adjust the height. There are two small set screws that you have to use the enclosed Allyn wrench to twist in order to adjust the shelf. And it was a bit difficutl with just 2 of us to keep it flat and level to be able to move the shelf. The legs on the top shelf also screw in with the same small screws. The commpany did include 2 extra screws and a small Allyn wrench with this unit. The rounded edges are nice on both sides so that it doesn't matter which side you want to use. The plastic bullet type feet that came with it would be good if you don't want the wheels. The craftmanship looks to be good and I believe this will work my what I purchased it for. It is much easier to have 2-3 people to put it together than one person, especially for assuring that the bottom shelf is straight while screwing in the set screws. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased the 48" x 24" table and it's a great, solid piece with substantial casters. It was not challenging to put together once I figured out the tool type I needed (allen wrench in the star-like shape) as no assembly instructions are included with this product. I'm happy with the purchase but would share that there were two minor ding dents in the table top. If a perfectly smooth surface is important in your use of the product, you should be aware this defect is possible. The package was not damaged in any way (it's actually very well packed in two layers of boxes) so it would appear the manufacturer let the product exit the facility with dings. If you need a perfect surface, it would be advisable to peel off the protective sheet on the tabletop to check for any imperfections before assembling if you would want to return. Again, not a big deal and these very minor imperfections do not impact the overall quality of product and my use of it. Hope this helps!

This is, for the most part, a great product. It's very sturdy, easy to assemble, and durable. I bought the casters to replace the pegs that come with it. The casters are large, very sturdy, and work perfectly. All in all, it's a really good table. IMPORTANT!! I didn't buy this for its intended purpose as a commercial kitchen prep & work table. I bought it to use as a table in my basement laundry area. But, I'm familiar with commercial kitchen equipment and if I were in the restaurant business I'd really like to have this as a prep work space. It has a large work surface, it's height is great for kitchen work, and it's easily moved with the optional casters. All good attributes. So, with that caveat, I'll say this is a great product with this exception!!! The packaging is dreadful. The table weighs in at somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 to 70 pounds and it comes in a long, flat box that is shipped directly from the manufacturer via FedEx, UPS, or a similar delivery service. It is NOT shipped by Amazon's delivery. So, don't blame them. In fact, don't blame any of the delivery services. The issue is that the packing material used for "shielding" the table top is a light weight cardboard box with VERY light weight, 3/8 to 1/2 inch Styrofoam "protecting" the table top and there's little or no cushioning on the edges. As a result, there were multiple dents on the edges of the tabletop (see photographs). I received this item on August 20, 2020. I sent on August 21st, an email with the attached photographs to Gridmann's customer service. I wasn't asking for a replacement or a credit. I was simply letting them know that the packaging is wretched. I received 4 "We'll get back to you" replies to my message within 3 or 4 hours. But, I still haven't heard from them, 5-1/2 weeks later. So, if you need a good prep/work table for your restaurant and don't mind having a few dents on the edges when it arrives, this is a great deal. But, if you expect to receive it without several dings and dents, you might want to look for something different. And, if you buy one anyway and it shows up in the condition that mine came in and want it replaced, good luck with their Customer "Service" department, which should probably be reclassified as Customer "We Don't Care" department.

I bought this to put my tile/glass saw on. I don’t have a drain in my garage so I needed something sturdy & waterproof I could wheel out into the driveway, and this fits the bill perfectly, especially with the wheel locks. Fairly easy to assemble, although since I was doing it by myself, positioning and holding the shelf while tightening took some ingenuity. I found a box of something at about the right height and used it to rest the shelf on, while I tightened the screws. You’re assembling it upside down, so I left the top in the box while working on it to protect it from scratches. At 5’3” it’s a smidge tall for me with the wheels on, but that’s a minor quibble I can deal with.
