Hue bulb in a 4" can fixture
After reading a helpful review about using these trim bezels to install Hue bulbs into can lighting fixtures, I picked one up to try out. Then I bought five more. They fit perfectly and the reflector and frosted lens help to direct and spread the light. I recommend for putting standard Hue bulbs into 4" can fixtures.

Really good!
Fitted these over the weekend, needed some covers that were larger diameter due to the idiots that fitted my current lights who could not cut a circle. The fit wit a little trimming and I replaced the MR16 halogens with LEDS at the same time and they look really nice. Really happy with these been looking for some for a while and these are perfect/

Good for my application
Let's be clear: I know little to nothing about recessed lighting. Now, some background. We have some 4" recessed lights in our living room. I wanted to use Hue bulbs in them. Unfortunately, there are no Hue bulbs that properly fit 4" recessed lighting cans. The BR30 bulbs are too big and won't fit. The A19 bulbs fit, but look awkward because they're too small for the fixture. So the A19 Hue bulbs are the only option, but they look awkward. What to do? Well, I was in luck when I searched Amazon and found these trims. Normally you use these types of trims for bathrooms where the recessed lighting would be exposed to water. But they fit my application perfectly:1, they are reflective inside. This is important because A19 bulbs aren't "downward" bulbs; they cast light to the sides as well. With a normal trim, that light would be wasted. But these are reflective inside, so the light can now bounce and escape downward. Nice.2, they have a frosted lens. Again, normally this is used in a bathroom and the len is needed to protect the light fixture from water. In my case, it hides the fact that the A19 bulb is too small for the fixture. Now the recessed lights look great! The reflective interior and frosted glass makes the lights look brighter than before and less "sharp" and they look seamless in the ceiling. I'm sure really picky people are going to look at them and think it's weird I used shower trims in the living room, but 95% of people won't notice. As for the product itself, I have no experience with other trims so I can't rate the quality. For $10 it's good value. They all arrived in perfect condition. They even include plastic gloves in each box so you can, presumably, avoid getting greasy finger prints all over them during installation. They fit just fine. That said, I'd think twice about using them in a bathroom. Again, I don't know anything about recessed lighting, but these use a foam sealing ring instead of rubber. I'd think a wet environment would call for rubber? And the glue used to hold the unit together and seal its gaps is a little spotty. Maybe it's fine; I mean people don't generally point a hose at light fixtures. But personally I'd tend towards more established brands for something that needs to protect electrical from water. Know what I mean? *shrug*

poorly made as caulking around glass very poorly done and does not have a water proof seal. I wound up just letting these sit in my garage somewhere because they were unsafe to use in my showers.

Great quality. Recommended.
Great quality, very happy. I popped two of these suckers in to replace original covers that were peeling paint and rust in my shower. My old ones didn't have the metal sleeve that goes around the bulb, so this product is overall much higher quality. Install was quick and easy - pull out the old, pop in the new. Don't slip in the shower!

Excellent for the price
I bought these trims to cover my kitchen recessed lights that looked pretty ugly.Since the housings of my lights are a non-standard size (4.75"), I had to install the new trims on top of the old baffles, otherwise they wouldn't have covered the holes completely.I was very pleased with the final result: the light gets softly diffused but not obstructed. The only thing that I didn't like is the glass being slightly too transparent (the bulb can be seen through it when the lights are off), but this trim still deserves 5 stars, especially at this price.

These look really nice and diffuses the light without sacrificing brightness
These look really nice and diffuses the light without sacrificing brightness. I have Halo recessed housing and these fit perfectly. I have low ceiling so was concerned about lights being too bright and in my face. This one is just perfect! I'll be getting few more of these soon.
