Reusable Cloth Dust Face Masks 100% Cotton Washable Adjustable Breathable Fabric Mask with Filter Pocket

I have a big head with a double chin, so I'm picky about masks, and these are nice and roomy on me. The chin flap extends to cover my lower jaw, which is nice. I like that the nose flap is contoured to fit the bridge of the nose. My glasses sit nicely right on top of it. There is plenty of space between my mouth and the mask fabric, so I feel like I can breathe and talk unobstructed. The nose and chin flaps also have a little bit of room to expand when I open my mouth to talk, and that adds to the comfort. The fabric feels breathable and light, but not so light that it becomes unprotective. The interior side of the mask is an ugly medical blue color, which I don't love, but I do appreciate that the left and right sides of the mask are labelled so I don't need to flip it around figuring out which side goes up every time I put it on. The ones I received had a mild chemical scent fresh from the package, so I suggest washing them before wearing. I also would probably not run these masks through the washer/dryer because I feel like the lightweight fabric might get all crinkled. I'd wash by hand and air dry them instead.

Thanks, previous reviewers! I'm so glad I took your advice and chose these. Many cloth masks are either too small for big faces or too small for small ones, but these use an expandable design similar to some hospital disposable masks that adapts very well to different face sizes so that if you adjust the ear loops you can get a snug fit regardless of the size or shape of your face. Also, they are very comfortable. We're very happy with them. We also liked that they come in a handy zip-lock storage bag and include three extra ear loop adjusters. We've identified only two negatives so far, one very minor, and one regarding delivery rather than the product itself: * The instructions specify to hand wash the masks rather than zip them in a delicate-washables mesh bag and run in the washer with other delicate items on the delicate cycle. This is a very minor inconvenience yet odd requirement. * The masks came with the address label stuck to the zip-lock bag containing the item, i.e., the product packaging. No shipping envelope was used. This means that a product meant as a barrier against germs came in product packaging loaded with germs, having been handled by all in the supply chain and then laid on the cement in front of the door. (Also, the product envelope was sticky after the label was removed and thus attracts more germs...disgusting!) I'm immune compromised, so sanitary measures are crucial for me. Although I appreciate environmental efforts to reduce plastic/paper shipping material for non-hygiene-related products, this is probably the #1 item I'd think would be required to ship in an outer envelope; I find it very odd that it isn't. I thus called Amazon and asked for a replacement to be shipped properly, and explained why I was asking. I received the replacement in a shipping envelope. However, although I was assured that I could dispose of the first item rather than returning it and would not be charged for the replacement (and it appears that I was not charged for it, per the current order details), I received return instructions via email and via the updated order details for the original.

4 stars out of 5 — I recommend this mask, with some caveats The most important thing is that the mask is able to seal around my (large-ish) nose, so that my glasses won't fog, even in the winter. Further, it's multi-ply, for better protection, along with a pocket for addition filtration. It's also pleated, which improves the seal, while still leaving space inside the mask. There's room enough to double-mask (which I find easier than managing filter inserts). The biggest downside is that the metal for the nose is short, somewhat defeating its purpose. It's not a dealbreaker; it just means I spend more time adjusting it. Currently, it's the best mask I've found available on Amazon, at least for those with eyeglasses. (There's another company selling masks that I preferred, but those are no longer available on this site.)

Pros: The ability to adjust to different face sizes is nice, and I like the way it sits on the face. It's easy to breath through and I like that there's the ability to add a filter. Cons: The material isn't soft on the skin, and the room around the mouth gets hot really quickly because if your breath. In addition, If you have a slim or petite head, this mask might still be too big. Overall, I think in colder places where you might need extra protection and heat, this is a nice option. But if you're sensitive and want something more cooling (I know all masks will get warm to an extent), and/or if youre a kid or someone who has a small face, I wouldn't recommend this.

Although masks are no longer mandated, I have found that I feel at ease wearing a mask in public. So, I have adopted this behavior permanently. I have been trying many masks since the outbreak and have never really found a comfortable mask for myself (as a glasses wearer.) My spectacle lenses always get foggy, and I end up defeating the purpose of wearing a mask because I am always having to adjust it with unclean hands. That being said, this is the first mask that I have purchased which serves my purpose effectively. The nose bridge area has a soft padding and is flexible - so you can adjust it easily. And the ear straps are just as easy to adjust to your own comfort. The filtering is layered, so there is a bit of a breathing adjustment from other masks; however, this mask makes me feel safe and comfortable with that extra layer of protection. I recommend this mask for purchase without any reservations.

Started a new job with lots of people around. These are great. I prefer this fabric over the cotton jersey. The ear loops don’t chafe and the wire nose bridge doesn’t move.

What I needed in a mask was the nose contour piece and vertical expansion to cover under my chin and beard. I haven't worn them for more than an hour and they may be a little more restrictive than a disposable but they seem to work well.
