Salus Thermal actuator for energy-saving rules of surface heating - and cooling systems

Had all the actuators replaced when i moved to a house with underfloor heating that had a few faulty and broken ones from another brand. These replacements failed quite quickly... a bind when you need 12! Did a lot of research and the salus ones seem highly rated so bought one to test. So far iys working really well, and as my 'new replacements' have all stopped working i boufht more of thes ones ... The red catch holds the valve in the open position making it easy to screw the actuator on, then it pulls out to let the plunger return to the closed position. Happy to recommend these so far

I’ve just received the item, but unfortunately it came out dirty and covered in black dust. I’m not sure if it’s new or used, but in its current condition I cannot install it at my customer’s site.
