Good Kit, With Minor Issues
I got the kit as my first experiment with Arduino. I've got some experience with micro:bit and Raspberry Pi, so I wasn't new to electronics kits, but this was my first foray into the Arduino world. As an aside, I prefer micro:bit because it is dirt simple for middle school students, but I'll review this based on its merits as an Arduino kit.The Arduino board worked flawlessly for me. It integrated with the Arduino IDE with no issues. The connectors seemed to be good quality- I had no issues with them. The breadboard connections seemed a little looser than others that I've used, but they were fine functionally for the projects I did.I worked through all of the projects in the zip file that I downloaded. I was able to complete them all successfully, and was able to use the IDE to make some improvements to the sample code. There is a superabundance of resistors in the kit - 120 resistors in seven different sizes. The samples only used ten resistors total, and eight of them were 220 Ohm. There also more LEDs than needed for the samples, so you can feel free to blow a couple up if you forget the resistors. Aside from the that, the kit included a nice variety of simple components, along with a photoresistor that wasn't used in the samples as far as I could see.The variety of the samples was sparse (I could only find 8), but a curious experimenter could have some fun trying to mix and match techniques based on the samples. However, for kids, more samples would have been nice. The documentation suffers from being written by folks who are not native English speakers, but it is not as bad as other kits I've used. I'm used to documentation like that, but it can be a bit confusing for kids. Fortunately most of the pictures are clear, with the exception of one or two places where pin markings were hard to read.Overall, I enjoyed the kit and was impressed by what I got for $20.

I love it. A very good quality UNO board
I love it. A very good quality UNO board. Everything else is also of more than decent quality. The breadboard is smaller than I expected, but big enough for most projects. I really didn't pay any attention to the breadboard size before ordering I just assumed it was the same as the one I just received from the same company, my bad you know. I ordered this kit mostly for the UNO board and some parts the are included. I need some, cheap, simple sensors and an UNO to check code with. The board fired right up, out of the box. I am using a TFTLCD display with SD card and all the examples work as advertised. I haven't run any other sketches yet, but I am confident they will all run correctly. I recommend this for anyone getting started with Arduino and or electronics. The tutorials that come with it are really basic and good for anyone with no or limited experience with electronics or programming. Enjoy and have fun. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

It's a good kit.
I've had this for a year or two now. the components alone are worth it. The solderless breadboard is good for... well, any prototyping you might want to do. The UNO is pretty neat and all, but I haven't learned how to code yet( that's all on me for procrastinating, cause the instructions are pretty intuitive) I've done some simple stuff like driving a PWM computer fan(harder than I thought it'd be) and moved some servos around. Definitely a great present for someone who's not into "little kids stuff" and wants a more advanced thing to mess around with. Computer required for that of course...

Good quality kit, slight discrepancies in documentation
The parts list on the box and in the description is accurate short of the CD that others have mentioned is no longer included. The PDF documentation is slightly different, saying there should be two photoresistors instead of one and a passive buzzer in addition to the active buzzer. Other than that the quality of the kit seems to be rather high for a starter kit that includes the Arduino Uno board. The included board was recognized by the Arduino IDE without any fuss and the Blink sketch ran as soon as it was plugged in. It's working well as I go through the basic projects. All in all a good kit.

Great Introduction to Electronics
I've always been interested in electronics but didn't really know where to start. The Elegoo UNO kit is a great introduction. I knew the items that were included in the kit, what I didn't know was the comprehensive manual on the included CD. It contains an IDE (integrated development environment) which includes a number of sample "sketches" (code that is sent to the board to control it), drivers, and is a useful introduction to electronics. To start it explains how to read the color codes on resistors and how to determine the positive and negative pins of an LED, how to use a breadboard for designing circuits and progressively leads you through more complicated projects. The breadboard (this is plastic with holes in to allow you to push in components and wires) has double sided tape so you can stick it to your desk or work surface, which is a nice touch, however the enclosed USB cable is a little on the short side, so unless your surface is right next to a USB port, you're going to want a longer cable.Overall I'm very happy with the product plus the range of accessories that are available as add-ons for future projects.
