This mandoline is insanely good - creates wonderful juliennes with minimal effort and is a breeze to clean up (although carrrot does stain the white plastic). Just be sure to use the shield / guard else you’re guaranteed to lose the tip of a digit or two.

Bought for an aunt after she was so impressed with mine. Use it a LOT for carrots, beetroot, coleslaw; for potato cakes. Great for salads as you get true matchsticks- much neater than grating. My mandolin isn’t nearly as fine. Had mine 5 years- still going strong. Watch your fingers- it stays very sharp!
