This is a smaller backdrop stand and is more suited for backdrops that are 3ft x 5ft or something smaller. It is great for taking pictures of smaller things, like cakes, food, or even small children.

Hi,Good afternoon,What do you meant by fold flat? The crossbars can be taken off the stand and stored away compactly when not in use. Please do keep in mind that this particular one is for table top use, it is small about 2.5 feet or so. We do have a bigger version that can go up to 6 feet and have width of 5 feet, but due to Amazon policy, we are unable to provide you ASIN or link on here.
