Hands Down the best keychain light as of 6/16
I spent days searching and researching single AAA flashlights for both my keychain and camping supplies, and this is what I settled on for a keychain light. [NOTE: Amazon.com has 1 review category for all the different versions of this light. I selected the 120 lumen aluminum version for my keyring and the black aluminum 90 lumen version for camping. They're both quite bright, but I like the slightly longer run time of the 90 lumen model for camping, and the slightly tighter threads on the 120 lumen model for my pocket light.]NONE of the other items I poured over really fit the bill of something simple (1 function), cheap (~$10-$15), keychain compatible, brighter than a 30 yr old incandescent maglite, with a reasonable run time, sturdy build and with what at least appears to be a decently supported warranty. These lights are all of that and more, containing optics from just the past couple years, and being even lighter than the batteries they run on (7.7g for the light, 18.9g for the light and an alkaline AAA battery). They're made in China, sure, but so is EVERY OTHER FLASHLIGHT in current production, unless you want to plunk ~$70 on a Surefire light with comparable specs and significantly more mass (thank you, no).It took a while to find these since, unlike the brands you see plastered at the top of every search for "AAA flashlight", these guys don't dump $$$$$$$$$$$$ into promoting themselves. Hence what you get is a product that stands on its own merits and all but sells itself, and for less than half what the competition charges for their brands, many of which use older technology. So far I'm beyond stoked--the flashlights themselves feels solid and sturdy in spite of weighing less than 2 US quarters, and the light they throw is smooth, clean and delightfully bright. My only fear was the top twisting off in my pocket, but you really have to tighten the top down a LOT to get the lights to activate so I don't anticipate any issues along those lines. I'll update this review in a few months after these lights have had a change to prove themselves in action.Since the size and threads are the same between all these models and the electronics are in the head, the heads/bodies are interchangeable. This provides no functional improvement, but it does make for variations in aesthetics if you have these lights with different color bodies.* * * * * * * * * * * * * *It's been a year and both these lights continue to serve me well. Only thing I'd add is that the 90 lumen model, in addition to a longer burn time, offers more consistent brightness. The 120 lumen model is brighter for maybe 20 minutes, then dims to close to the brightness of the 90 lumen model.

My favorite single cell AAA flashlight, and I've tried several
I've had several different single cell AAA mini flashlights and this is my favorite. It's also the cheapest. I've bought 3 of these. The first is in my pocket right now. I bought it when I lost one of my other AAA flashlights, it fell out of my pocket in Central Park NYC and is still in the grass unless someone found it. I have never lost one of these, though. The bright silver finish is a plus in that regard, I spot it easily if I put it down but I try hard to stick with my habit of putting it back in my pocket after using it. I can turn it on and off with one hand. It retains full power for about 50 minutes on a fully charged Eneloop AAA battery. It does not come with a clip. I have taken a clip from one of my black mini flashlights and put it on one of these and I use it for a headlight by clipping it to a baseball cap when I'm riding my bicycle at night. The 120 lumens this puts out makes it very adequate for a bike headlight. If I have only the one without the clip, I hold it between my teeth! Yeah, that really works! I actually prefer that it has only one setting rather than the low/medium/high that my other mini flashlights have. It just makes life simpler. If you want a low intensity, say you are walking around indoors at night and don't want to disturb someone or your eyes aren't ready for the intensity of this you can just put your fingers over the end and reduce the light to what you are comfortable with. I bought my first one at B&H's big big store in Manhattan after losing that one in Central Park. I was skeptical but they didn't have what I was looking for and I didn't want to do without an every day carry mini flashlight, so I paid the ~$13 anyway. Glad I did. I have an extra I'm going to present as a gift. I personally would stick with the silver version because it's the only one that is this bright, the others being only 90 lumens.

MY GREATEST AMAZON BUY OF ALL TIME.
Holy cow! Wow! Amazed. Fret not....I didn't receive this product for free or any sort of discount. I paid full price and I feel like I got a highway robbery. I have bought so many things on Amazon and I feel confident that this is the greatest deal on Amazon I have found so far. Seriously. Yes.....seriously.You think you don't need a flashlight. You have one on your phone right? Who doesn't. Not enough! Trust me. This little Hercules DESTROYS any flashlight on any cell phone. Period! my iPhone 6 flashlight is still crying in the corner cradling his ego. My girlfriends S7.....please. Not even close. I got the silver and it's worth it for the extra 30 lumens. This lift is extremely light but durable. I have dropped it multiple times on my keychain and it doesn't blink and eye. I can't believer I've gone so long without this I could slap myself!! I ordered a tactical keychain (so should you!) and wanted a cool mini flashlight to sit next to my Spyderco Ladybug. It's he lightest item on my keychain lol. I'm just stunned. It emits a gorgeous blue/white light that is seriously enough to temporarily blind you. I accidentally got the flash in my eye and I was seeing stars and had disorientation. This is the greatest Amazon buy I have ever made. I have no affiliation at all with this product other than passing the word on the stupendous value. One little twist to the left and watch in amazement how you have lived this long without it. Buy it!

Great flashlight for your key chain
This is everything I wanted in a key chain flashlight - small, light, powerful, AAA battery, attractive styling, and not expensive. The photo shows how small it is next to my Subaru key. I put a TEC Python Clip (also available on Amazon) on it so that I can easily take it off to put on a lanyard or hold it in my mouth if I need to do an emergency repair with both hands free.
