Barsony New Brown Leather IWB Holster for 2", Snub Nose .38 .357 Revolvers

If you're looking for a simple IWB I'd definitely recommend this. I use it for my S&W 2.5in 686 and it works really well. I've practiced drawing with it when I go shooting and have had no issues on the draw. Getting it back into the holster can be tricky with it being a soft holster but that doesn't bother me much because I'm more worried about being able to draw quickly and effectively which this does well. The clip also seems to be holding up really well. I've noticed a little bit of more play in it recently but it still clips and holds to my belt well. If I was a gambling man I'd bet that the clip will wear down eventually and become a problem but as far as right now and how I use it I'm ok with it.

Pros: Fits gun perfectly. Soft leather exterior keeps it from slipping up or moving around on you. Interior of holster protects gun. Very soft and I can't picture it scratching my gun. Gun is held securely but still easily drawnCons: Clip has great retention but I wish exposed edge of clip wasn't so pointed. If you're wearing it at 4:00 or in the back of your pants it will scratch up the seat in your car.

I'm underwhelmed. I really expected more based on other reviews and the photos. From the top: Materials are good, nice thick, and soft lining, not likely to damage the finish, stitching is light and single row. Does not look like it's going to last long. Execution: kind of so-so, the fit is pretty sloppy, allows the revolver barrel to protrude thru the bottom exposing it to grate on your tender skin. I can break out the leather awl and fix it, but why should I have to? Bottom line, I may send it back, may fix it myself, but I sure won't buy one from this maker again. I'm pissed, really wanted a quality holster for this revolver and didn't get it.

This is my first IWB holster. I really did not think I would like IWB carry but thought I would give it a try based on the positive reviews. I have been using it for 3 weeks and I like it a lot. On any given day I will carry a Taurus 85 ultra light 38 cal, or a Rossi 32 cal; it fits both comfortably and the concealment is excellent.This is an update to my original post above...I have been wearing this holster daily as appendix carry for 5 months and I still like it a lot. I mostly carry my Taurus 85 UL 38 cal. I recommend this holster to anyone wanting to carry in the same manner. (I don't know if body build has anything to do with it but I have a slender build at 5'10"; and 165lbs)This is another update. I have been wearing this holster 2 years and am still liking it a lot. I alternately carry the Taurus 85 UL 38cal, or a S&W Mod 637 airweight 38cal that is even more comfortable to carry in this holster.

First off, High quality firearm holsters cost more than 30 bucks, That being said I buy these for pistols i put in bugout bags and backpacks etc, more to protect the pistol than anything, although i carry my Sig P938 in an IWB from this company. have bought three and each one had tight firm stitching and used high quality leather. the holster will conform to the pistol over time and has reinforcement to keep the mouth open. can't beat em for the price.

This American-made holster arrived promptly. It is well-constructed made of leather and it fits my s&w J-frame 38 special perfectly. I ordered one designed for inside-the-waistband use. It fits easily and wears comfortably and allows for easy withdrawal of the gun. The trigger guard is well-protected. I recommend it without hesitation.

It held my S&W Bodyguard in place nicely. Hardly could tell it was there. Leather was soft, flexible and the belt clamp held the holster in place while removing the firearm. However, when returning the firearm back into the holster it took two hands, due to the leather collapsing closed. Over all I like the comfort and concealment this holster provides.

Ordered this holster for my Taurus 85 a long time ago and wore it almost everyday. Barsony makes quality leather holsters for AIWB and the price can't be beat. I'm posting this review now because I just ordered another after getting rid of this one in a trade and just wanted to praise them a little bit. Comfortable, secure, and well made, once it is broken in you won't even notice it is there. Believe me, order it.
