Somehow I keep misplacing my large eye needs that I use for making blankets. This was a good amount for the price, were easy to thread, and gave me a good variety of needle sizes to use with different yarn thicknesses.

I really like these needles. I am able to thread these needles on the first try. They are extremely sturdy to the point that bending them would be really difficult. The downfall with them being so sturdy is that all of these needles are very, very thick. They work well on materials like denim or thicker but anything thinner than t-shirt material is not a wise choice. I do like that there are many lengths of needles & they are each stored in a hard plastic capsule-like container.

I highly rate my Mr. PEN, large eye needles. I am 87 years old, my eyesight is failing, I have tremors in my fingers and I have not been able to thread a regular needle for quite some time. I needed to do some hand stitching on several items of clothing. And I just could not do it even after many failures. After receiving these needles, NO problem, I threaded several in different colors of thread on the first attempt with no trouble. Within in minutes, my task was finished.

It brings alot of needles alot of sizees

The eye holes are large and easy to thread but the needles are very hard to push through fabric. They are blunt tip not sharp so didn’t meet my needs. They probably would be useful for little kid lacing cards or for the elderly weaving on a plastic holed grid or crossstitch fabric that already has holes. Just not good for regular hand sewing ( hemming etc) I couldn’t push any other through actual fabric.

For those of us who love to sew but have difficulty threading a needle, these are the best! Highly recommend!

I liked the large eyes the best on these needles; however they do not work for embriodery because they are too thick! They leave a big hole in the fabric... I look forward to using them for other projects!
