I got this leotard in pink and black for my daughter. She is 15 months old, wears 24 month clothing, and the 2-4 size of this leotard fit her very well. I don't see how a child wearing 4T clothes would fit into it so you may want to order up. It is a great quality. Nice weight, good stretch but solid enough to stay in place with dancing and forward rolls. Held up well in the wash. Really cute.

Very nice leotard. It's well made and lined. Im so glad I read the reviews and ordered up a size because this leo does run small and has very little stretch. My Granddaughter is 3 yrs old, 30 lbs and petite. She never has a problem fitting a 3T, but not in this brand of leotard. I reluctantly ordered the sz 4-6, which normally would be too large for her. It fits perfectly. Great quality and price but definitely order 1 size larger than you normally would.

We ordered my daughters standard clothing size and it fits perfect. The color was off a little. We ordered what looked like a blue, but it is more purple. But, it will still work
