Works surprising well as a tiny (and flashy) MP3 boombox
The size of this product ( TD-V26 Portable Mini Digital Speaker ) is much smaller than I expected. From the product image, it appears to be the size of a desktop alarm clock. The actual unit is just a 2-inch cube, which fits right on my palm.Small size apart, this unit packs a lot of features. I can use it as a portable speaker for my tablets (connected through a 3.5mm audio cable), or as a FM radio. I can even insert a microSDHC card, or plug in an USB drive, to use it as a MP3 player. The unit is powered by an internal rechargeable battery, which can be recharged through a mini-USB port. The biggest problem with this product is that: it comes with zero user instructions. In addition to the on/off switch, the unit has just four buttons in front: MENU, PLAY, PREV and NEXT. It is up to the user to figure out all the functions through trial and error. Here is what I have determined:- Press MENU button to switch the music source between Line-in / FM Radio / microSDHC card / USB drive.- Press PLAY button to play/pause the music. In FM radio mode: press and hold PLAY button to start an auto-scan process, which will store all available radio frequencies into preset stations.- Press PREV button to move to previous MP3 sound track (or to previous station in radio mode). Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the music volume DOWN.- Press NEXT button to move to next MP3 sound track (or to next station in radio mode). Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the music volume UP.As a tiny MP3 player, the unit works reasonably well. The sound quality is actually not too bad, considering it contains just a single 2-inch speaker. On the other hand, there are several design deficiencies I don't like:- There is a color LED at the base of this unit. It randomly flashes between Red/Blue/Green as long as the unit is powered on, even when it is not playing music. This is just wasting battery power for no reasons (except maybe to make it look 'cool')- The MP3 player does not play in alphabetical order of the file names. It simply plays songs in the order the files are written onto the SD card or USB drive.- There is no way to skip from one music album (or file folder) to another. I have to press NEXT or PREV to skip one file at a time. Thankfully, the player can resume from the last song played, so I don't need to start from the first file at each power up.Given the present low price, I consider this product a good value despite of its design deficiencies. At the minimum, it serves very well as a flashy little MP3 boombox for kids.

Great little speaker, issues with some radio stations
This is a very nice looking speaker that makes an excellent gift for any occasion. The small little screen on the speaker definitely comes in handy and it gives it a distinct look to other competitors, as well as the built in antenna. It would be nice if it was actually concealed like other speakers, but I guess the manufacturer was aiming for this sort of antenna in order to receive better signal. I did have some issues with many radio stations, I don't know if this is just the one product that I received or if it has happened to others as well. When holding this device in my hand all radio stations can be listened to very pleasantly in a nice quality of audio, but as soon as I stopped touching the speaker and set it down on my table or any other surface the signal seemed to disappear and you would just hear static. This occurred with many stations, not all of them did this, but most of them did. I however, didn't really buy this speaker to listen to radio, I use it more for the Micro SD option, sound quality is decent, of course this can't be compared to a higher end portable speaker, but I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised with the volume on this mini speaker. There was a lack of instructions, definitely a small issue, but it is very easy to learn how to use it after playing around with it for a while. Just a heads up, to the volume on the device down or up simply locate the buttons that skip a track and then instead of pressing it, hold it. Holding the buttons activate the volume and allows you to increase or decrease the volume.Overall I rate this product 3.5 stars out of 5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars!I hope this review has helped you out, the words stated above are my own.

Easy to use!
Easy to use! I use this to play music all day for my baby parrotlett. I didn't want him to be lonely while I was at work. I transferred music onto a USB drive and recorded some random bird whistling exercises for him and it plays all day til I get home. I plugged in the usb, switched the unit on and pushed the mode button once to read the usb. Simple as that. I then plug the charging cable in so it doesn't ever run out of battery (altho I don't even think I need to do that) I bought a similar unit from a different seller for $2 more and that one arrived broken. So I ordered this one and the vendor had it to me in one day. This vendor and unit was much better! Only gripe I have is I can't turn off the light. I hard pressed the mode button for a full minute and the light still won't turn off lol. Oh well. The light isn't obnoxious as other units I've tried out. I've used it for a week now and now probs. Fingers crossed it keeps running.

BOOM Box in a little Package!
Great little player with a lot of sound. It arrived fast and in good condition. Instructions were on the cords box. It came with an audio cable to connect a phone or MP3 player and a micro USB to standard USB cable for charging. It's got an on/off slide and four buttons. The instructions are on the box with the cables. Light weight, easily transportable. Construction feels good. Nice speaker. Very good volume. The lowest setting might be too loud in radio mode for a cubicle but plugged into your phone you can lower the volume even more with your phone setting. I'll update about this later. My main problem is that the USB port is inaccessible. It was installed incorrectly and you can't push the USB in. It's up and back so you can forget that. However, I don't plan on going on a bike ride or out to a friends house with a bunch of USB drives sticking out of it for music. Also it's kind of a pain if you lose your station. There's a bit of a learning curve but it's not impossible. However shutting the light off? Impossible so far. Multicolored random strobe on the bottom.I'll update after a couple weeks it. I must say so far I am impressed. Buy it!
