tokidoki Coloring Party

I love tokidoki. So I have zero complaints. If you use markers it will bleed through so you should put a cardboard in between the pages. it's a decent price, just get it.

This is a great book for pre-teens that like the cute and colorful pictures of Kawaii characters. This will be the second copy I have bought for my 10 year old Granddaughter. The paper is of decent quality, she has used colored pencils and water based markers, I wouldn't recommend alcohol markers because the pages are printed on both sides.

I was so excited to get this, because I loved the first coloring book and the coloring pad. I was quite disappointed because while the pictures were nice, the ink was very faded and the paper was starting to turn yellow. Some other reviewers had the same problem, so I just returned it... would have been great if the quality issue was just my own copy, then I could just exchange for another. If the quality changes, I'd happily repurchase this.

I absolutely love Tokidoki and so I hate having to give a bad review. But this coloring book is just not the same quality as the other coloring books.. like the other reviewer said - the pages are an off white color. Not white like the others. And the part that bothers me the most is that the lines are extremely faded!!! I thought maybe the printer was running out of ink when it got to my coloring book, so I returned and got a new one - same issue!! I can’t even bring myself to color in it..

The pictures are wonderful, but the paper is slightly off white, not thick, and the book itself was smallish. I hate giving this such a low rating, but in a coloring book, the paper is kind of a dealbreaker. I really wanted to love it, but I use felt tip pens, and this is iffy for even those!

Okay so I have several or maybe ALL of the Tokidoki coloring books. I was so excited when I had seen that there was finally a NEW one! I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but decided to get it anyways and I am so glad I did! I generally use permanent markers, gel pens, etc. I did not think that the pages were flimsy at all. Common sense tells me to use cardboard or something so it doesn’t bleed onto the next page if I’m using permanent markers. So if you’re having second thoughts don’t….and go ahead to order it!!!
