Size 1s - Note, I mention species of fish that I caught with these hooks, that you should use a smaller hook for, size 4 or 5 is great for perch and spot, size 1 is great for croaker though. On to the review!I just got a chance to really use these hooks and I must say that fishing for croaker, perch, and spot these hooks do a great job as long as you make sure to use a smaller size. I was very surprised with the hook up rate I got with these considering how much these fish love to peck away at your bait and not commit to a bite. Much better than the traditional J hook, but with less action on the part of the fisherman because these are self setting and jerking motions actually disrupt the hooking process. No snags with these hooks though - at least none yet. Good sharpness. Not quite on par with Owner or Gamakatsu, but definitely better bang for the buck. Sturdy hook!

I haven't tried the hook yet, so I can't comment on the effectiveness, but there are only 6 hooks in the package. For the asking price, I was expecting at least 20 hooks. Not impressed. I guess that's why they don't state how many hooks you get in the advertisement.
