Useless
This thing is useless, you can't get it tight enough and it just spins. It want open a pickle jar or a small dish detergent cap.

Used as a focusing tool for my camera lenses
So I actually purchased this as an attachment to my camera lens to allow smooth focusing. It works well and is a cheap solution to smooth focus

He probado este artilugio abre tapas en recipientes de vidrio y de plástico y no ha funcionado. Probé haciendo presión y sosteniendo firme sobre la tapa, el cinto negro para que haga tope correctamente, y aún así nada, se desliza pero no las abre. Supongo que será para algún tipo de tapa en especial, pero con las que he probado no ha ido bien.
