Is this as effective as the mario badescu drying lotion?

i have never used the brand Mario drying lotion, though i have used the face wash and enjoyed it. I still love this product for helping treat current acne, but it is very over drying and with to much use can cause the PH balance in the skin to over dry, and or over produce. so only apply to acne area. it will not get rid of it 100% but it does help the swelling and redness over time until the acne fades away. ( do not pick)

For those that have used this for a while.... How does this compare to Mario Badescu? Good/Bad/Ugly?

It doesn't work as well for more established pimples. It also doesn't dry things out as much. I use this one for regular use on overall trouble spots I see starting and Mario Badescu for small areas needing spot treatment. If I use MB regularly it really dries my skin out and I get flaking (It was pretty bad, actually, on my oily skin no less). So I use both, but this one regularly and MB only if I really need it!
