First off, the hose arrived very quickly, within days. Second and most important to me is the fact that when you receive the hose you will be pleasantly surprised to discover that the walls of this hose are really quite thick. This hose price point is excellent and you will be impressed at how beefy it looks and feels. The third point I would like to mention is that the hose has a substantial plastic accordion protective sleeve on the bend of the hose in order to shield the hose. My factory original hose had softened a great deal and was ready to be replaced, this plastic protective will obviously help to protect the hose that is exposed to damaging rocks flying up on gravel roads and I believe it will protect the hose over the life of the hose. This is a GM factory hose, and I could not be happier with the heavy duty properties of this product, and at such a good price. This is a 3 thumbs UP product in my opinion. First I removed the 2 10 mm bolts on top of the rad, then I had purchased the GOOACC GRC-30 120PCS Car Retainer 6.4mm 8mm 9mm 10mm Expansion Screws Replacement Kit Bumper Push Rivet Clips, 1PC Fastener Remover. The rivet kit makes removing the rivets on the side of the rad a breeze, plus you get new rivets that fit perfect. Once the fan cowl is removed replacing all the hoses, belts, water pump, and tensioners is super easy. With the water pump removed the AC pump is 10 times easier to remove and replace. If I did it again I would buy a GM style factory hose clamp tool. I hope this helps repair your GM HD truck.
