Pros - Sturdy build - Fairly compact for storage purposes - It has differing settings for dry and wet foods - Can be used with jars - It is simple to operateCons - It is really noisy. - There has to be a minute pause after each use to allow cooling of the sealing system. This is really irritating if you have a lot to do.Over all it is OK but if I had realised how noisy it is and the necessity of pausing so often I would have chosen another model.

I've never used one of these before but I have a new Instant Pot with a sous vide facility and therefore wanted a vacuum sealer. I knew it would also come in handy for preparing meat foe the freezer to avoid freezer burn. This was very straight forward to use even for a novice, just choose moist or dry food and away you go. There is a pulse facility for delicate foods like fish so that the vacuum process doesn't destroy the texture. There's a pack of bags included but you can also just use rolls of plastic which I guess give you more flexibility. I haven't tried this yet but in this case you just use the 'seal' function to form one end of the bag and then use the vac&seal function in the normal way. What I like is that this unit takes up very little space - it just sits upright on its side in a deep drawer, handy for everyday use but not cluttering up my worktops.

Heavy but useful! Took me a while to get the hang of it but it’s good once I had. Still on the fence with my thoughts.

This is the most practical vacuum sealer I have ever had, very pleased with it. It combines different functions and all are easy to operate, quiet and effective. Good quality deserves the price paid.
