I am so obsessed with this stand. So much more comfortable now to hang out on the couch with my little set-up and embroider. Love love love!!!!! 🧡

This brand is highly sought after amongst embroidery aficionados. However, there don't seem to be many places to find it in the US.That said, I probably could have gotten it sooner if I had ordered directly from the manufacturer's UK site. The seller (likely importer) has two different business addresses--one in WY and one in TX. I was told this item would come from TX. It didn't ship until the day it was supposed to arrive, 12/22...from NJ. Then of course the terrible storm hit the eastern half of the country. Nothing to be done about the weather, I understand. But it was a absolute shipping fail! So wherever this seller actually ships from, just be aware when ordering.

I am sending this one back because even though it is made by Nurge, it won't hold a nurge frame very well. Seems to be made more for wooden hoops. Plus, when I stick it under my leg to hold it (like it says I should be able to do) It doesn't tilt. It only tilts front to back, not side to side, so you have to put it on a table in front of you, or have it sitting on your lap in front of you to use it. This doesn't work for me at all.

I thought this would be the handiest hoop stand. The concept is great and it is well made. But I'm short, so my legs are not long and I find that when placed under my thigh, the hoop is too close and not at a good angle for me. I won't give up on it and may find a different chair than the one I usually stitch in will improve the fit but I love my stitching chair so...

Even with a blanket over me, this is so easy to use. Having both hands free and not having to hold the embroidery hoop is so nice and will come in handy when I progress to more advanced stitches that require both hands. It’s simple to loosen a nut to allow tying off floss in the back, too. I am looking forward to embroidering in the car with it on a long road trip (while my husband drives, of course)!

Do not like that it is not big enough for a q-snap. Ian having problems with the hoop I am using to get it to fit. Cannot get the knobs tight enough. Arrived in a box that was all messed up. The package was mailed fine so I think it was put in the package that way. Will probably send back

The product does what it is intended to achieve. Holds the hoop in place, is adjustable in height for comfort, and if you keep the box easily portable. However, was slightly disappointed that the pole for adjusting the height and the piece that holds the hoop is plastic versus wood like the base and the part the pole goes into.

Just wanted a simple stand for sitting on the couch and stitching, and this delivers! So far it's held up to an 8" hoop with no problem. It's easy to adjust, and I can swivel it up to see the back when I need to.
