This Crescent 25 Piece Pass-Thru Socket Set is Worth Serious Consideration.
This Crescent 25 piece 3/8" Drive Pass-Thru socket set is just what I needed to complete a transmission fluid change (pan removal) on my vehicle. The low profile was perfect for the very confined space I had to work in. The 1/4" bit socket was perfect for holding a 1/4" T40 Torx bit and it got me out of a jam. I always wanted a pass-thru set and this one checked the boxes. Pleased with the quality, especially for the price point. The (black) finish seems nice. The description stated that it is "painted". It looks more like black chrome to me. Pleased with the purchase. A nice find.

Great quality tool, nonexistent storage with the set.
I bought this set because I bought a Kobalt set like this several years ago on clearance and it had a flex head that uses this type attachment to the ratchet, but there were no sockets - just allen wrenches and Torx bits. Since I have the Kobalt flex head ratchet that uses this system, and I don't have any other flex head ratchets, I thought that this would give me some additional flexibility. So, now I have a flex head (Kobalt) and a straight ratchet (Crescent) that I can use with these sockets. And since these are low profile, these will help me get into some other places that I would have had trouble with in the past. Now, the annoying part (as others have mentioned) is these don't have any kind of case or real way to hold them. The sockets fall out of the "rails" that come in the package. This is a big problem. Maybe I will get a magnetic rail or something. Otherwise these will fall all over the place. Great quality tool, but lousy storage for the tool.

Quite useful tool / socket set
Quite useful tool set. Only wish it had come in some kind of package or case that would keep everything one place organized. One drawback I have seen for the months owning it is that some of the sockets have started rusting, which was surprising. That suggests metal quality isn't that great and may not be durable in the long term. Nevertheless, it has been a useful set to own.

The ratchet work's great with AstroTools nano sockets!
I bought this set so that I could use the pass-thru feature on long bolts. It works great for that! But here is something that is a pleasant surprise: The ratchet is 17 mm with C-clamp inside, and as a result it works perfectly with the Astro Tools 3/8" nano sockets. The sockets snap into the Crescent ratchet and are tightly held. I am super happy about that since I use the Astro sockets all the time and it is good to have a proper ratchet for tighter spaces and this Crescent ratchet works perfectly for that.

Wrench skips teeth at hand-tight torque applied
I went to remove an M8 Allen Key Bolt, so not something cranked down hard, and the ratchet teeth skipped first try. I only used hand strength. The ratchet wrench is hot garbage.

Wow, for the price I am amazed at the quality and finish of these tools, super good feel as well as being nice and heavy, they work great on bmw tie rods, and anything else that requires a through bolt.

Tut was es soll und sollte in jedem Werkzeugschrank liegen.Eine Halterung der Nüsse sollte allerdings standardmäßig dabei sein. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
