PowerA 3DS/DSi/DSi XL Car Adaptor

This car charger has saved my life and sanity! Before buying this my son would play his Nintendo 3DSXL most of the time in the car while either driving to WI or just 45 minutes away. Now if your son is anything like mine you will be constantly reminding him to put it on the charger at night so while he is sleeping the magical ds charging fairy will charge it to 100%. Sure he will do it for the first couple of days and then literally it is permanently erased. Which brings me to the car charger. If anybody has been on a road trip from FL to WI (OR any other state for that reason. I tip my hat to you ladies for being brave enough to be trapped in a vehicle with no way to escape! ) when my son's DS died he did too. Then the screaming, and crying, and picking on his sister, and the aggravation sets in. Now that we have the charger he can plug in and continue playing. I give this 5 stars for the convenience of being able to charge in my car AND 5 stars for helping me keep my sanity. For helping me not pull out every stand of my hair!

Works great for my 3DS XL. I play my 3DS when I am waiting in the car for someone to get off work or for doctors apts. and since I keep my 3DS on for the streetpass, my battery lasts for about 1 1/2 days on a full battery, without the 3D on. So it get's frustrating when I forget to charge but this car charger helps ALOT!! Just keep in mind, do not charge your 3DS with your car off. It drains your battery like it is nothing. So have the car running when using this charger. Also it charges fast. I would say a little bit faster than the wall charger. I do recommend this for people.

i bought this since i play so much and when im driving with my parents on long drives i like to have something to entertain my self and i obviously drain my nintendo 3ds xl battery fast i bougt this as a quick charge whatever but it only works when it wants to work.

If you need to charge your 3DS in the car, then it works great. Good price, great functionality. Very satisfied

Item pictured is not what you're getting. It's a cheap universal charger even though the description states that it is officially licensed Nintendo product. The 3ds xl plug in barely hangs in there. One slight tug and it will detach. Very poorly made product.

this product did not work for us. The two cords did not fit together properly and ended up over heating in the car. Thankfully I felt it before it was able to do any damage to the cord or the car.

Long cord and great when you have a impatient child that wants to continue that awesome game of Super Mario or Super Smash Bros. Has saved me time and again. Great quality connectors also.

I sometimes play my DS when I take a lunch break from work. When that flashing red light would come on I would sadly shut off my DS and know that I was finished playing for that day. I finally got this car charger and now I never have to worry about that flashing red light again. I just have to remember to make it back to work in time now.
