How quiet are the keys?

The keys are as quiet as a laptop keyboard. It's not completely quiet but it's great to use at night and in loud situations. If you have a habit of wearing long fingernails, they'll obviously be louder than normal. You don't have to press the keys hard if you're used to adapting to both quiet and louder keyboards. They're slim keys. Someone can sleep in the same room as I can without being disturbed with the tapping keyboard noises.
