I have found this to be a very good basic watch. The band looks like it will last for aa long time as I do take the watch off to shower. Like anything else that has a very low cost to it, we may luck out or we may not. For the price I pid, I felt it was worth it.

Q: Is the battery included?

Yes, battery included. Mine came with a plastic piece that had to be removed to make the watch operate---a battery-saving device.

Q: Does anyone have the instructions to be able to adjust the band? Bought for aunt,it's to big and she pitched the paper work.

I know, with some better quality bands, you can remove a section or two. I looked for that possibility here, but I don't think so. I finally wrapped several layers of Gorilla Tape around the inside part of the band. It works great. No one can see it. I actjally love the watch
