It’s a nice set very sturdy better than I was expecting , honestly for the price it’s a good deal . At the contrary I was looking at some reviews on here and someone mentioned the broken ferrules rings it was maybe on model 2022 /2023 but this set actually has a solid ring it is not split and the handle with the attached metal head are pretty sturdy also long enough to comfortably hold the chisel while using . For the money it sounds a great set to me . Thanks 😊

Bought these for 14. year old who is starting to do wood turning. He likes them and they do a nice job on pens, bottle stoppers, measuring spoons pepper mills and other small items. Seem pretty well made and will, hopefully , last until he can turn a set of his own. Good combination of cutters.

Great tools at an affordable price, and customer service was fast and fair! I ordered the 4pcs set, when it arrived the pear cutter was shattered to pieces (they put a protective rubber on the blades to protect them but apparently UPS rose to the challenge). I emailed their customer service and got an almost immediate reply with a more than fair proposal. The tools themselves are very nice and work well, especially for the price! I recommend giving them a shot if you are like me and want to try carbide tools for the first time without spending a small fortune. I have only used them for a couple days now and still love my HSS tools but these are a great addition and will see plenty of good use in my shop!

These are incredible….all the sizes and shapes you need….carbide tips are sharp and durable….handles are very well made and extra long and the ability to change or rotate the tips…quality tools

I tried wood turning in high school 50 years ago and decided that it would be something I’d try again now. Bought a small bench top lathe and a very inexpensive set of HSS turning tools. I did okay with them but there is a learning curve attached to each of those tools as far as tool rest height and angle of the tool meeting the piece. Ordered this four tool set of carbide tools the same day I brought the lathe home. When this set came in I couldn’t wait to get them to the lathe and try them. I had watched a lot of YouTube videos about carbide tools and I followed the advice to have the tool rest back more than normal with the other tooling and the tool set at the center line and parallel to the floor. That’s exactly how they work best and I turned the mallet in no time while trying all four tools. Highly recommend this set for beginners. The only real downside to this set was the box they arrived in had been handled pretty rough. The outside packing box had no damage but the box that contained the tools was very cracked up, tools were not damaged at all. I contacted the seller and they responded very quickly and are ready to give me a special deal on any future purchase. Great company support and great tools!

These work well with the long handles. Good value: quality and low price. Easy to switch tips.
