Perfect to fix planks with missing hooks. Pro Tip: Will need needle nose pliers on hand to pull the hooks apart, so order that too if you don’t have a tool obsessed husband like me. 😊

These are the best replacements for the broken shutters. Some people had difficulty detaching the pins. I used tile nippers which were perfect. There was nothing easy about replacing the broken pins on the shutters. Use construction glue, pliers and lots of patience. I used my pliers to reinforce the pins in the handle, but I forgot to put cloth on the painted side of the handle. Now, I need to touch up paint. Lastly, if you do not glue the pins in, then they will come right out very easily. Put the pin in and add a dot of glue then don't touch the handle until the glue dries overnight. I may have to go back with gorilla glue. The pins are really great. The process is a patient building repair.

I had the staples from a few plantation shutters come out. Unfortunately, I couldn't find them. I found these on Amazon, and they work great. They are plenty long and just the right width. I also added a bit of glue to make sure they don't come out again.

I got these somewhat expecting them to be a waste, but it was a low enough investment I was willing to try, and they were great - easy to separate, easy to install, fixed multiple shutters in like 10 minutes!
