Is exactly what is described and fit in my Dremel 3000. Unfortunately, a replacement brush did not solve my Dremel issue. The carbon pieces seem fragile.

Ruined my DREMEL 3000
Advertised as replacement brushes for a DREMEL 3000. Noticed immediately that they were thinner than OEM but had no way to compare to length of OEM as they were worn down and all searches could not give me an OEM measurement,only part numbers.All numbers on packaging were as they were supposed to be. I installed both NEW brushes using OEM springs as the replacement were thinner and noticeably shorter and checking to make sure of good alignment, turned on to condition brushes as instructed per DREMEL MANUAL, Dremel ran for about 4 seconds and stopped and sounded weird. Tried to remove brushes to check them out but they had wedged between housing and motor , because they were thinner than OEM ,that allowed them to be pushed at an angle and pulled out of brush seat compartment. So I had to disassemble my Dremel 3000 just to get the brushes out and after making sure reassembly was done correctly per the DREMEL MANUAL , put old brushes back in as they would still work with a little extra pressure ( enough for testing purposes) and now my practically new Dremel is useless!!!! Thanks Amazon, real quality products you sell !!!

The brushes fitted the Dremel model 3000 perfectly! Originally, I thought the brushes were not working properly because the motor was hesitating and the speed was not constant. Checking the instructions from the Dremel manual, I discovered that the machine had to run for a full 5 minute at full speed for the brushes to acquire the rounded shape to make proper contact with the rotor. I suppose that new carbon brushes have to be shaped properly in order to efficiently transmit electricity to the rotor. The Dremel is working fine now.
