I’ll admit I don’t quite remember when I bought these, but I still have both of them and haven’t needed to replace the batteries. They work great and my dog is very intrigued by the UV light.

Pro's: Sturdy, lightweight, easy to hold, rechargeable. Con's: Quick battery drain with continuous "ON" use. Randomly, after engaging the power button, the LED would either flicker off or just turn off.

I work with Uv resin alot and needed something for small projects. I wasn't sure how or if this would work well. It works amazing. The only weird thing was I got the rechargeable version and the only way to charge it is through the battery. I've never seen this way of charging before.

I find that this item has a very limited use for the purposes that it is described to make "apparent" by shining the light on. I did not find that it illuminated areas clearly that I knew had some fluids that it claimed to show. It is easy to use and will show some limited illumination of certain fluids, but not to the level that I expected.

small and compact, strong beam but doesn’t pick up stains well. If you’re using for uranium glass it’s compact with a little heft and quality made.
