The Doorbell can be connected directly to your router or to one of our Smarthubs. Without a SmartHub your wifi frequency needs to be 2.4GHz. The Doorbell requires 2 Mbps upload. An Arlo Secure Plan is needed for cloud recording storage.

Is Arlo Secure subscription plan obligatory to purchase?

No, Arlo cameras can still work without a subscription and perform basic functions such as live streaming, motion detection, and recording. Advanced features, including cloud storage, and AI-enabled detection features, are only available with a plan.
