A very beautiful-faced doll. Like the fact that she's holding her ribbon and batons, and her leotard is nice and realistic.Beautiful face and hair. Looks like a real rhythmic gymnast.

Rhythmic is a bit too obscure a reference
I bought this for my seven year old niece who has been doing artistic gymnastics for about two years now. She loved that the "Barbie is brown". But, she had no idea what to do with the clubs or the ribbon. In fact, neither did her mum. I ended up having to pull up a YouTube video so that she'd get the context and know what she could potentially do with the apparatus.I guess rhythmic is a bit too obscure a reference, even for a gymnast! I think that Barbie's makers could potentially put create a fun rhythmic video and include the url in or on the box. Not everyone knows the reference.But, after the YouTube video, my niece really loved her and was flipping her and the apparatus all over the place.

I'm not really a fan of Barbies to be honest. And I vowed to never buy my children any. Over the years I've really struggled to find dolls that match my children's skin tone and not only was the colour important but also black or brown dolls that were actually pretty and resembled features similar to my children. I really appreciate that this doll's hair is almost an exact match to the texture and look of my daughters beautiful type 4 hair. And I appreciate the fact that the nose and mouth aren't stupidly exaggerated and unproportionate to the rest of the face. My daughter loves it and hasn't stopped playing with it since.
