Das Dome-Port-System ermöglicht beeindruckende Split-Shots über und unter der Wasseroberfläche und erweitert die kreativen Möglichkeiten spürbar – besonders beim Schnorcheln oder im Pool. Die Ergebnisse wirken stimmig und erfüllen ihren Zweck zuverlässig. Die Verarbeitung macht insgesamt einen soliden Eindruck. Der Griff wirkt zwar etwas instabil, hat in der Praxis aber bisher problemlos gehalten. Die gelbe Farbgebung ist optisch nicht unbedingt ein Highlight, dafür hat sie einen klaren Vorteil: Geht das Equipment im Wasser verloren, lässt es sich dank der Signalfarbe schnell wiederfinden. Ein Punkt, den man im Hinterkopf behalten sollte: Gelangt Sand auf die Kuppel, kann er Kratzer verursachen. Hier hilft die mitgelieferte Schutzhülle, die beim Transport zuverlässig schützt und genau diesem Problem vorbeugt. Insgesamt ein nützliches Zubehörteil mit kleinen Schwächen, aber überzeugender Wirkung im Einsatz.

This is a nice inexpensive option for a dome port for an action camera. I have the DJI Osmo 4. I like that it extends the underwater depth rating of the DJI by a good amount. It also has several ways to mount the handle and orient the camera, which is nice. It is big though, compared to the DJI action camera, which may be a negative when traveling, but a dome port is the only way to get those over/under water shots. The only downside I can see, so far, is that once the camera is mounted inside the housing, you can’t use the touchscreen so if you want to switch from still camera to video, change the zoom or other settings, you can’t. The only controls available are on/off and record start/stop. Just make sure your camera is setup before putting it in the housing. Outside of that caution, it seems like a well thought out product.
