This is not a cheap set of samples so my expectations are high. The seller has two reviews over the past twelve months so keep that in mind. I like the set, it’s a great example of the different weights of the various elements and some research will tell you of the particular importance of these metals in the economy. A certain popular search engine tells me the tungsten cube should weigh 315 grams, mine weighs 295. This implies they are not of the purity advertised. I am only an armchair chemist. But still, the difference in weight between magnesium and tungsten is remarkable and I think that’s ultimately the point here. The base the cubes sit in is nicely done. I’m happy with the purchase but if you’re a stickler for purity I would advise caution.Update - I have noticed that the manufacturer got the electron count wrong for the tungsten sample - they list it as 2,8,10,32,12,2 where the third shell should be 18. Definitely changes my opinion about the set and loses one star for that.Update #2 - I asked for a replacement, received with the same problems as the original. Unfortunately I have to advise not to purchase this item and will be returning the original and replacement.

Great item and everything is well made but the tungsten is mislabeled. The 10 should be an 18 and I would like to get it fixed but I doubt that the company would fixed this. Everything else is great and the packaging was decent.
