Garrett Metal Detectors Pro-Pointer II

Absolutely brilliant 2nd gen to the best pinpointer around.. Brought this to replace my 1st gen original garrett pro pointer because of the old on off button was the only flaw replacing 2 & there a right bugger to solder in & get back together 😡 Anyway I digress 😏 the v2 is a little heavier but feels night & day better with the improved on off button I was going to buy the carrot 🥕 but my friend has it & to much messing in different settings & it’s much thinner plastic to the fact it’s transparent when lights on 😳 This is on off PERFECT 👍 solid build like the first but with the carrot button 👌

This is the gold standard in pinpointers. I’ve been using these black ones for many years. Other manufacturers make great detectors, but their pinpointers that I’ve tried don’t compare to Garrett in simplicity, reliability, and quality. These are perfect for beginners and pros. You won’t be disappointed no matter what kind of detector you use.

Very happy with this metal detector so far. Bought to use as an additional stud finder and to detect nails and other metal in reclaimed wood prior to refinishing. Haven’t used it on the reclaimed lumber yet but have used it to find hidden fasteners covered in mortar. The audible pulsing and vibration made zeroing in on the faster head a breeze. Worked flawlessly and saved time and frustration. Well built with thick plastic and seems very durable. . Not worried at all about having it floating around in my tool bag.
