Cheap insurance tool - when you know you know
Tool works as designed - as a 20+year dealership pro …. If you’ve ever had to extract a broken carbide tap - it takes for freakin ever! OR you have get new head/block/whatever that the tap is broken off into - explain to the owner why their job now is several thousand more in parts & labor!

Worthless
I wish I could give it a negativity rating. This is absolutely NOT worth the money. I tried both the "2#" and the "3#". Both broke without rotating the broken tap one bit. If you break a tap, chances are it is stuck (that's why it broke!). These extractors have so little metal in their "fingers" that they can take very little torque. Unfortunately, the only tap extractors that actually work, are the ones where you slide the fingers down the length of the tap (like the $200-$350 Walton sets).

The small sizes are 3 prong not 4.
Keep in mind the small sizes in this set are a 3 prong tool... They do not work for American tattoos which would use a 4 prong tool. I did not see that when I ordered. It might say that somewhere, but the larger sizes are 4 prong.

I bought them because they were the only tap extractor I could find that had the size with 3 prong to remove a taiwanse broken tap. I was uber carefull and shimy it back and fort slowly with barely any force. The damn thing broke anyways. It might work for bigger size but for smaller one, don,t waste your money.
