One Tiny Downside?
Another great OXO helper. It’s balanced, hefty weight plus a very comfortable, easily cleaned grip feels good to hold. Similar LOOKING scoops have broken in half digging into solidly frozen ice cream. The downside with this solid, stainless steel scoop is that you may eat more ice cream just to have an excuse to use this scoop. Highly recommended.

Best ice cream scoop ever invented!
Perfect ice cream scoop! This is slightly different from the one we've had for 36 years and are tickled pink! It makes perfectly round ice cream "balls" after a very short learning curve and the OXO handle is comfortable both for arthritic and younger hands. So, a 10 from us old folks and a 10 from our late '20's kids.

Stubborn Ice Cream
We bought this scoop because of our excellent experience with OXO utensils. The scoop is heavy and has a ergonomic covered handle and steel scooper. The only issue we found is that stubborn scooped ice cream sticks to the steel scooper. Our solution is to wet the steel with water before attacking the ice cream. Problem solved.

Nice solid ice cream scoop. Previously had a Sabatier but the chrome started to come away. This is a little heavier but it scoops hard ice cream much easier and looks like it is built to last so 5 stars from me.

Endlich genau das was ich wollte. Wertig, schwer, massiv, Edelstahl. Hoffe der Griff aus Kunststoff hält auch dauerhaft. So auf jeden Fall das richtige für hartes Eis.
